It was so fast, you needed several replays to catch up with Sammy Ameobi's leveller. It was a tremendous pass from Jack Colback to set up the Newcastle striker, taking Spurs' left-back Eric Dier out of the game entirely and exposing a pocket of space in behind him.
Quiet start to proceedings at Turf Moor after the restart. Sun shining though.

"There were five touches of the ball from kick-off and on the fifth touch it is in the back of the net! It was a tremendous pass by Jack Colback and a lovely finish by Sammy Ameobi. That has taken everybody by surprise. What a game we have got now!"
Alan Pardew, managerial genius.
Inside 10 seconds of the restart, substitute Sammy Ameobi pulls his side level, chasing down a Jack Colbeck lump forward to slam a low shot past a startled Hugo Lloris.
Spurs are paying for that first-half profligacy.
The Toon they are a'changing.
Remy Cabella and Sammy Ameobi are going to come on for the second half with Gabriel Obertan and Vurnon Anita to give way.

"I don't know what to do with my fantasy football team, Jose Mourinho keeps you guessing all the time! We have heard about Diego Costa's hamstring injury at the start of the season and yet he has been banging in the goals for fun.
"Imagine what he will be like if he was fully fit.
"It will be interesting to see what he does though if Didier Drogba is his only fit striker because I don't think that he will get more than an hour out of him."
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel

"Manchester United need tidying up at the back. They need one signing now and maybe two or three more in the summer. It is always difficult to sign somebody in January, because you can pay over the odds, but if you pre-plan you can good players for less money."

"Louis Van Gaal's predecessor David Moyes discovered that when you are Manchester United boss the pressure is on whenever you have a bad result against any of the top teams. Moyes only won one of his eight games against last season's top four, and lost five of them. Van Gaal has to do better than that, but his early results suggest that might be a struggle.
"United's attacking approach has not been too convincing against the lesser sides in the Premier League, and it will be very interesting to see how far it gets them against the best teams. We will find out when they play Chelsea."
The hot-dog stalls are frying up a storm at Old Trafford. An hour and a half to kick-off until perhaps the biggest game of the season so far...

"We all know Spurs have been the better side, they got the goal, they have had the better possession and the better chances, but it is not won yet because there will be things said in the Newcastle dressing room, I am quite certain of that."
Yullaw:, external Nacer Chadli is a real waste of money! Seems Spurs have gone on the Belgian trend but bought the weakest one.
Cameron Laws:, external Burnley's only hope of survival is Danny Ings hitting top form. Can't see anyone else getting the goals in for them.
Patrick Coppins:, external Don't get all the criticism of Romelu Lukaku. In the past three seasons, only RvP and Luis Suarez have scored more Premier League goals. Proper predator.
Sean Dyche marches towards the tunnel, whispering not-so-sweet nothings into the ear of the fourth official as he goes.
That elusive first league win of the season is still a mirage.
We are heading into injury time in both games.

"I'm not certain Tottenham have had enough shots bearing in mind the amount of possession they have had in this half. They have just not been finishing their moves with shots. They have been good moves, but you have to finish them otherwise what does all the possession count towards?
"Spurs could end up regretting that because as we have seen, matches can change so much from one half to another."
Very stealthy from Nacer Chadli right up until the finish. The Belgian winger tip-toes into the Newcastle box, unnoticed by any defenders, but with all the time in the world goes for a spectacular volley and finds row Z from Christian Eriksen's floated free-kick.
