And off we go...
Man of the moment Lionel Messi is all smiles as he poses for a pre-match team photo. Is this the night he becomes La Liga's all-time leading goalscorer?
BBC World Service's Steve Crossman in Istanbul: Sensational goal from Wesley Sneijder. He runs in circles now surrounded by Galatasaray fans on all sides of TT Arena. Superb 20 yard curler! Then Sneijder with another superb strike from outside the box. He told me before the game he's never felt under more pressure. You wouldn't know it."
Barcelona: Bravo, Alves, Pique, Mathieu, Alba, Xavi, Mascherano, Roberto, Pedro, Messi, Neymar. Substitutes: Ter Stegen, Iniesta, Rafinha, Bartra, Adriano, Ramirez, El Haddadi.
Eibar: Iruretagoiena, Boveda, Albentosa, Ekiza, Lillo, Errasti, Garcia, Minero, Capa, Lara, Berjon. Substitutes: Nieto, Lektic, Vila, Boateng, Piovaccari, Navas, Jimenez.
As Barcelona splashed £75m on Luis Suarez this summer, their opponents on Saturday - Eibar - also broke their transfer record, shelling out 75,000 euros on winger Dani Nieto.
For the pile of money Barca sent to Liverpool to acquire Suarez, Eibar president Alex Aranzabal can run the tiny Basque club's entire operation for nearly five years.
Yet, despite the enormous financial disparity, the La Liga debutants will face the Catalan giants as one of their peers this weekend. "A couple of years ago the idea of playing in the top flight was a dream," said Aranzabal. "This is a special moment for us."

Fifteen minutes to kick-off and the players of newly-promoted Eibar can be forgiven for feeling a little nervous as they prepare step out at the Nou Camp. Their average home gate of 2,901 was smaller than 84 Football League clubs last season. Around 70,000 are expected for this one as Barca fans turn out to mark Lionel Messi's decade long service.
These were the scenes before the Istanbul derby as hundreds of Fenerbahce fans turned out in numbers to wave their players off before making the short journey across the city for the game with Galatasaray. They'll be pretty pleased with how it is going. Not long left and the 10 men of Fenerbahce are still holding out.
We asked who has made the bigger impact for their club - Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi?
Barça Republic, external: Cleary Messi has. Just look at the trophies Barcelona have won with him in the side and the increased fan base of the club
Brian Summers, external: Ronaldo is one of the most athletically gifted people I have ever witnessed. A fantastic player. Messi is the best finisher I have ever seen. He is a great team player... Messi
Matt Grimshaw, external: Ronaldo, his record for Real Madrid is different class.
Our good friends at Opta have been crunching the numbers and have come up with this snazzy graphic about Lionel Messi.
If you are thinking their maths is not quite adding up and are missing how he scored one of his goals, then full marks for the observation.
In fact, Messi diverted the ball into the net with his hand for one goal during their match against Espanyol in 2007.
Spanish football writer Andy West on Twitter:, external I really hope Lionel Messi doesn't score more than two. It would be a fantastic story to see him break the La Liga scoring record at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid next week.
BBC World Service's Steve Crossman in Istanbul: Galatasaray now well on top with the extra man. Olcan Adin draws an anguished cry from the home fans after leaving keeper Volkan Demirel stranded but hitting the post.
We asked who has made the bigger impact for their club - Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi?
Jamie Lett, external: Lionel Messi, no doubt Barcelona are a different team without him though they have Neymar.
James Benson, external: If a scientist built the perfect footballer it would be Cristiano Ronaldo.
Philip Chibuike, external: The difference is clear. Cristiano Ronaldo is way up and has had the greatest impact of the two.
Can you imagine Manchester United fans paying tribute to Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard at Old Trafford or Arsenal supporters giving Chelsea skipper John Terry a standing ovation at the Emirates?
Well, La Liga bosses are calling for Real Madrid fans to pay tribute to Lionel Messi at the Bernabeu next weekend if the Barca forward gets the three goals he requires to break the league's all-time goal record.
"On that same pitch I've seen the crowd give Maradona and Ronaldinho a standing ovation," says league president Javier Tebas in Marca., external "I think Spanish football realises how important the player is to our league."
BBC World Service's Steve Crossman in Istanbul: "What a save! Thirty seconds into second half and Wesley Sneijder's low shot is blocked and somehow held by Volkan Demirel. Moments later there's a red card to Fenerbahce's Bruno Alves following an ugly kick. That's got the Galatasaray fans bouncing."
Lionel Messi starts as he eyes the hat-trick he requires to become La Liga's all-time leading goalscorer. Neymar also features.
Earlier, Bayern Munich warmed up for Tuesday's Champions League game away to Roma with a crushing 6-0 win over Werder Bremen. It was a good day for the German champions, with winger Franck Ribery making his comeback as a substitute on the hour.
Philipp Lahm and Xabi Alonso gave them an early two-goal cushion before a 43rd-minute penalty from Thomas Muller and Mario Goetze's shot two minutes later killed off the game before the interval.
Lahm and Goetze got their second goals of the afternoon in the second half to lift Bayern to 20 points, four ahead of second-placed Borussia Moenchengladbach, who eased past Hanover 3-0.
Less than an hour to kick-off at the Nou Camp. Team news coming up shortly...
BBC World Service's Steve Crossman in Istanbul: "Galatasaray fans mosaic recreates moment Graeme Souness planted their flag on the half way line after beating Fenerbahce.
"It was well worth the tricky process of getting inside the Turk Telecom Arena. BBC pass almost confiscated, check. Microphone almost confiscated, check. Navigation of five security check points and scores of riot police for a game with no away fans, check. Even managed an awkward hello to former Galatasaray player Harry Kewell, a man I've never met before. Well worth the stress, this is an intoxicating cauldron."
