What. A. Goal. Toni Duggan summons the spirit of Peter Crouch to hammer an absolute worldie. The Championship club parted company with Dougie Freedman earlier this month.
So, what's the situation? I'll keep this as brief as possible.
Chelsea will be champions if they beat Manchester City. No ifs, no buts. They will also lift the trophy if Birmingham and Liverpool fail to win, while a Chelsea draw could be enough given that their goal difference is two better than Birmingham's.
Birmingham have to beat Notts County and hope Chelsea slip up, with a Chelsea loss or draw enough to let City in, depending on goal difference.
Liverpool, three points behind the leaders, require Chelsea to lose and Birmingham not to win if they are to have any chance of defending their title.

Replays of that penalty appeal show that the ball did bounce up to hit the hand of Emma Lipman, but there's not much the City player could have done. Chelsea have been camped in the City half, but are almost caught by a Toni Duggan counter.

Manchester City 2-0 Chelsea
Chelsea starting well in the sunshine, pressing from a free-kick. Ball pumped into the City area, confusion, appeals for handball. Nothing doing.
KICK-OFF
Liverpool have kicked off, Birmingham are out from the tunnel and Manchester City have got us back under way in the shadow of the Etihad. We're 45 minutes away from crowning the WSL champions.

Amanda O'Shaughnessy: This WSL final day is incredible! Living in Canada and with no Premier League on today I wish they would put this on TV. GO LFC.

Just looking at some of the replays from that Birmingham- Notts County game, there are bouncy castles behind the goal in Solihull. They should be mandatory at every football ground, whatever gender. Who do I have to speak to for this to be done? Greg Dyke? Get him on the blower.

Are you managing to keep up with all of this? Has that first half changed your opinion of where the WSL title will reside in an hour or so? Chelsea? Birmingham? Liverpool? Text, tweet, or head to the BBC Sport Facebook page.

Estonia v England (17:00 BST)
Once these matches are wrapped up, we'll be bringing you full coverage of England's men as they take on Estonia in a Euro 2016 qualifier.
Interestingly, we're hearing reports of England manager Roy Hodgson having a long chat with Raheem Sterling on the Tallinn pitch. Wonder if he will be tempted to rest the Liverpool attacker?
Live coverage of that one from 16:00 BST.

Sue Smith
Former England forward
"I've been really impressed with Manchester City's workrate. The wide players are running back, doubling-up, and making it difficult for Chelsea to create anything out wide. Every player is giving 100%."
HALF-TIME
Manchester City 2-0 Chelsea
What a first half. Somehow, Chelsea remain top of the WSL, but they have it all to do. Emma Hayes has to perform some magic at the break to get the title back in Chelsea hands.
HALF-TIME
Birmingham 1-2 Notts County
The interval in Solihull. Birmingham, 2-1 down to Notts County and with a penalty wasted, are slipping out of the top two.
Post update
Manchester City 2-0 Chelsea
In all the hubbub, it's worth remembering that, as it stands, Chelsea remain top of the table. Other results are going their way. However, surely the final day can't pass with all of the top three failing to win? They are in added time at the end of the first half in Manchester.
HALF-TIME
Liverpool 0-0 Bristol Academy
Half-time in Widnes, Liverpool only one goal from the title. As they sit in the dressing room, they will get all the info of what is happening around the country and will return knowing they have a great chance to snatch the trophy.
GREAT SAVE!
Birmingham 1-2 Notts County
Unbelievable. Karen Carney's low penalty is brilliantly saved low down by Carly Telford, who was then up to stop the rebound. In Widnes, Liverpool have hit the bar. Silly amounts of action.
PENALTY
Birmingham 1-2 Notts County
Can anything else happen? Birmingham have a penalty after a Notts County handball...
GOAL
Birmingham 1-2 Notts County - Kirsty Linnett
All happening. Birmingham are back in this title race thanks to Kirsty Linnet, who latches on to a loose back pass to cut the Notts County advantage. Birmingham can win the title with victory, Liverpool need only a goal against Bristol to take control. It's that close.

"All I can say is, wow! What an amazing goal from Toni Duggan! She brought it down on her chest and the volley was instinctive. The keeper maybe could have saved the first goal but not that. Duggan demonstrating just why she's an international footballer."
GOAL
Manchester City 2-0 Chelsea - Toni Duggan
What. A. Goal. Toni Duggan summons the spirit of Peter Crouch to hammer an absolute worldie. A slick move down the City right ends in Jill Scott squaring the ball to Duggan, who takes the ball on her chest, then swivels to volley right-footed into the far corner. Chelsea are 2-0 down and can see the title slipping away.
Post update
Manchester City 1-0 Chelsea
Reporter Tony Leighton at Etihad Stadium: "Man City have doubtless angered Chelsea's title rivals by fielding a weakened team as they have one eye on their Continental Cup semi-final in four days' time, but that will swiftly be forgotten if they hold on to this lead.
"Birmingham, meanwhile, could well be out of the title race before half-time. Not only are they 2-0 down they are also trying to score against the meanest defence in the league - Notts County have conceded just six goals in their 13 games to date."
Post update
Here's a reminder of how the table looked at the start of the day. At 2-0 down, Birmingham look to be blowing their chance at home to Notts County. An equaliser in Manchester would get Chelsea back in control.
Post update
Liverpool 0-0 Bristol Academy
Still goalless in Widnes, but, as it stands, a two-goal win for Liverpool would see the defending champions retain their trophy. It's all getting a little tasty.

Manchester City 1-0 Chelsea
Sue Smith
Former England forward
"Absolutely brilliant from Jill Scott. She scored an absolute screamer in the game last week, and she's done the same here. The shot just bounced awkwardly in front of the keeper, who will think she should have done better. But Manchester City deserve that - they've been building up in this game."
GOAL
Manchester City 1-0 Chelsea - Jill Scott
Now then, is there a twist in this title race? Jill Scott has put the Manchester City cat amongst the Chelsea pigeons, rifling in a bouncing effort from 25 yards. At the near post, Chelsea sub goalkeeper Clare Farrow probably should have done better, the ball bouncing below her dive. City lead and Liverpool have a sniff.
GOAL
Birmingham 0-2 Notts County - Fiona O'Sullivan
It's slipping away from Birmingham, both in terms of the WSL title and the second Champions League spot. Fiona O'Sullivan has put Notts County 2-0 up in Solihull. Right now, it looks to be between Chelsea and Liverpool for the silverware.
Post update
Manchester City 0-0 Chelsea
On the touchline, Chelsea boss Emma Hayes is asking the media for help with scores from the other fixtures. Birmingham remain 1-0 down to Notts County, while Liverpool and Bristol Academy are goalless. As it stands, Chelsea are champions.
Post update
Manchester City 0-0 Chelsea
Action at both ends. After City's Natasha Flint went the wrong side of the post with a lob over the on-rushing Clare Farrow, the home side were saved by a goal-line clearance from Abbie McManus. From Eniola Aluko's deep cross, a header back across goal from Rachel Williams was stopped on the whitewash.

"They took their time over Hourihan. Quite rightly. She came a long way and fell heavily. But she won't have wanted to go off - this is such a big game. Straight into the ambulance is a bit of a worry."
SUBSTITUTION
Manchester City 0-0 Chelsea
What a moment for Clare Farrow, who comes on to make her Chelsea debut in the most important match of the season. Farrow has 39 on her back, but no name. Marie Hourihan has gone straight to the ambulance at the side of the pitch. If this had happened at the other end, City do not have a goalkeeper on the bench.
Post update
Manchester City 0-0 Chelsea
Eeesssshhh. That's a serious collision between Manchester City's Georgia Brougham and Chelsea keeper Marie Hourihan. Hourihan has stayed down and is struggling with her right shoulder. The ball came in from a free-kick, Hourihan took off to catch it, but tangled with Brougham on the way down. The physio signals that she can't continue.
GOAL
Birmingham 0-1 Notts County - Aileen Whelan
Already there's good news for Chelsea. Aileen Whelan has taken advantage of some sloppy marking at a corner to put Notts County in front against Birmingham. As it stands, a draw will be enough for the Londoners to be crowned champions.
Post update
Manchester City 0-0 Chelsea
Back-to-back corners for Chelsea, for whom manager Emma Hayes prowls the touchline, dressed in black. Hayes is the only female boss in the WSL. Nothing comes from the corners, but error-strewn City are still struggling to press.

"Manchester City have got new players in their side so Chelsea will want to get at them early on. If they can get crosses in to Rachel Williams then they will have a good chance of scoring."
Post update
Manchester City 0-0 Chelsea
Chelsea press in the early stages, City struggling to get the ball of their own half. The home side, by the way, have 18-year-old Alex Brooks in goal for her first WSL game. Just a small one to begin...
KICK-OFF
In Widnes, Liverpool are away against Bristol Academy. In Manchester, City remain in their pre-match huddle. Birmingham are doing the same in the Midlands. Finally, all three of our big games are off.
Post update
We're actually a little tardy in Manchester. Will the other three games have players lining-up and shaking hands, our two teams are only just strolling across the athletics track. Warm applause as the players make their way between two white and sky blue flags. The Chemical Brothers pump out over the speakers. It's sunny, a warm end to a summer season.
Post update
Almost time for kick-off in gloriously sunny Manchester. Around the country, teams are emerging from the tunnels in this three-way scrap for the Super League title. In the shadow of the Etihad Stadium, Chelsea are about to take the field, 90 minutes from glory.
Neil the Trotter
Changing gear for a moment, we're being told that former Celtic boss Neil Lennon is close to being appointed the new manager of Bolton Wanderers.

Sounds simple enough, right? Not quite.
Both Birmingham City and Liverpool are waiting if Chelsea slip up. Birmingham host Notts County and reigning champions Liverpool entertain Bristol Academy.
All in all, it promises to be a right old final-day thriller. It begins at 14:00 BST.

Apologies if that statement sounds a little biased, but let's have a look at the facts.
Chelsea's fellas stand five points clear at the top of the Premier League after only seven games. Would you fancy telling Jose Mourinho that his men won't win the whole shebang?
And the ladies? Well, they're even closer. Beat Manchester City today and the Blues will be crowned champions of England for the first time in their history.

Now, let me tweak that statement ever so slightly to make it relevant to this sunny autumnal Sunday afternoon.
Twenty-two people chase a ball around for 90 minutes and, at the end, Chelsea win.

According to Gary Lineker, football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball around for 90 minutes and, at the end, the Germans win.
