The Owls have looked the most likely as the game has got more stretched and Scotland international Stevie May comes agonisingly close to giving them the lead.

May thunders an angled shot past keeper Joe Murphy but the ball hits the underside of the crossbar before bouncing off the foot of the post and improbably staying out.

You know what they say, you wait 65 minutes for a shot on target and then you get two in three minutes.

Former Real Madrid winger Royston Drenthe dances across the Town area before firing straight at home keeper Joe Murphy, then Terriers sub Nahki Wells capitalises on a Wednesday error before firing a low shot just too close to Owls keeper Kieren Westwood.

Moments later the visitors almost scramble the ball over the line from a corner but defender Tom Lees was thwarted.

Could we yet have a goal from this Yorkshire derby?

Joe, Dawlish: My pal shouted 'Titus Bramble' before striking a wayward volley straight towards the large glass window of our local cafe. Luckily, it swerved at the last second and nestled in the top corner of a tree, never to be seen again.

Chris, Belper: Local park over 40 years ago. Friend hits a loopy shot over the bar from close range and sets off after it as it drops. Ball strikes corner of tree stump behind goal, ricochets back and hits him squarely in the bread basket. Play suspended for 15 minutes while we are crying with laughter.

Why Joe's mate shouted 'Titus Bramble' before striking a volley, only he knows.

It remains a cagey affair at Huddersfield Town.

Neither goalkeeper has been forced into a save of note, though Town keeper Joe Murphy has clashed with Sheffield Wednesday striker Stevie May on three occasions after long balls played through for the Scotland international to chase.

Earlier, we mentioned that David Moyes will take charge of Real Sociedad for the first time tonight when his new side face Deportivo La Coruna. So let's hear from the man himself.

"I'm nervous but I've got a good feeling," said the ex-Manchester United boss at his first pre-match news conference. "I have a concern about why we haven't won away from home this season so we have to make sure that changes. We will try to be positive. We need to become hard to beat.

"I've been made incredibly welcome. We've had a great week and good weather, which I've enjoyed."

Chris Sheppard: Will never forget using my elderly neighbour's front garden wall as a goal when I was a kid. It wasn't so much as a wayward shot, but it hit the curb bounced up over the wall and through the lounge window where they were watching TV. Parents not impressed.

Paul, Wales: While playing football in local car park, managed to volley the football, taking out the power line, promptly putting half the town into darkness.

"Stoke's results at home have been a mixed bag so far this season, but if they play like they did against Tottenham at White Hart Lane just before the international break, it could be a tough afternoon for Burnley.

"Burnley finally managed to secure their first win of the season just before the break and no doubt a timely confidence boost.

"Now they'll need to take that belief on the road, where they've taken just two points from five matches so far."

Here is a question for the football community, posed by Sarah from Luton: At least five Luton Town fans travelling to Burton today will have watched Luton play away at all other 91 football league teams by the end of today. How many supporters at other teams would be able to claim that they have seen their team at all 92 clubs?

  15. Who beat Inter Milan?published at 13:11 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2014

So here is a question for you. Thirteen years ago today an English team defeated Inter Milan, but which one?

    Manchester United? Chelsea? Arsenal?

Nope. The answer is Ipswich Town, who claimed a 1-0 victory in the first leg of the Uefa Cup third-round tie as Alun Armstrong scored the only goal to shock the Italians. However, Inter stormed through the second leg, winning 4-1, to seal a 4-2 aggregate victory.

They may not have had the best of seasons to date, but that has not put off their loyal support. Today they are taking around 6,900 fans to Blackburn for their Championship clash at Ewood Park. That is the biggest away following in the division this season.

"It is unheard of. Our support is just second to none," manager Neil Redfearn told the Yorkshire Post. They will be hoping for a better result than the 2-1 defeat they suffered at the same ground last season, when 6,727 fans made the journey.

Former Huddersfield Town midfielder Kieran O'Regan: "Huddersfield have the option to put Nahki Wells on.

"It is difficult for Grant Holt at the moment because he is up there on his own. The atmosphere is quite flat in the stadium but I think the introduction of Wells would really lift the crowd."

BBC Football Focus pundit Mark Lawrenson believes that Wigan chairman Dave Whelan "should step aside" after making controversial comments about Jewish and Chinese people in a newspaper interview.

Whelan was defending the appointment of new manager Malky Mackay, who is being investigating by the Football Association following allegations he sent offensive text messages while working as Cardiff manager.

Whelan, who believes he was misquoted by the Guardian and has apologised, has been accused by Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan of being "a racist".

Both Whelan and Mackay have refused to respond to Tan's comments but have both previously denied being racist.
