"If Newcastle beat QPR it'll be five league wins on the bounce and no team, not even a rampant Chelsea, have managed that so far this season.

"Are Rangers capable of tripping Newcastle up? At first sight you wouldn't have thought so but I'm paying attention to Rangers' much-improved form.

"In their last four league games, they defeated Aston Villa, drew with Manchester City and were narrowly beaten by Chelsea and Liverpool so - though they remain in the drop zone - spirits have lifted."

"Manchester City will be hoping the international break will bring a change of fortune for the resumption of domestic matters. The champions haven't yet got anywhere near the standards they have set themselves.

"However, they are facing a current Swansea team who are fresh from beating Arsenal, have already been to Manchester and won this season, and who asked Chelsea strong questions at Stamford Bridge. They have only lost once in their last six league matches."

It is still goalless at Huddersfield but the hosts were only denied by an excellent challenge by Tom Lees. The defender slid in to stop Sean Scannell from tapping in after Tommy Smith's low cross.

Mark Boorsma: As a linesman at a cup final I helpfully returned the ball for a throw in by kicking the ball out of the ground. I also scored in a cup final I was refereeing but that's another story!

David in Manchester: When I was about 17 on a school trip me and the boys were hitting long distance passes to one another. My girlfriend at the time emerged from the adjacent building with a brew for both of us. I decided to take it on the volley and sure enough hit her square in the face, deflected off the porch roof and hit her on the top of the head again. We all just stood in silence with hands on mouth. Terrible scenes!

Paul in Mill Hill: Hit a shot over the crossbar at the park, it flew and hit a girl off her bike who was riding on the pavement. Luckily the next person to walk by was a doctor!

"We're still in November but you sense this fixture has the air of a relegation tussle. Enough games have been played this season to see a shape developing and it looks as if Leicester and Sunderland might struggle.

"Promoted Leicester haven't won, and barely scored, in six subsequent games since the magnificent 5-3 win over Manchester United, and Sunderland are faring little better.

"I see this game as being a tight, low-scoring affair between two very nervous teams."

"Everton are a little adrift of where they would expect to be in the league, but injuries have been a plague almost from week one.

"Southampton might be getting the bulk of the votes for this season's surprise package, but West Ham's resurgence is arguably just as big a shock.

"Everton have quietly putting together a six-game unbeaten run in league and cup and West Ham will have to be at their very best at Goodison to stop that continuing."

Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Jeremy Helan was shown two yellow cards at Huddersfield two seasons ago but referee Mick Russell forgot to send the Frenchman off.

It was the only talking point from a drab 0-0 contest... Let's hope history isn't going to repeat itself today.

Only 26 goals have been scored in games involving Sheffield Wednesday this season; a Championship-low. Unsurprisingly, it is still goalless at the John Smith's Stadium.

"Jose Mourinho gives Chelsea that charisma and mentality where even if they don't win then they're not going to lose. That mentality is instilled in the players, they've come through some away fixtures already, and going through the season unbeaten is getting closer to them."

"Chelsea will walk this. It's the first selection for anyone having a wager on home wins this weekend.

"That's what the majority might think, but having been at this fixture last season I wouldn't dare to be quite so sure.

"Just over a year ago, Albion were seconds away from their first win away to Chelsea for exactly 30 years - and then referee Andre Marriner awarded a penalty to the home side, the very reminder of which will have Baggies fans fuming all over again."

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink got off to a winning start as manager of Burton Albion on Monday. Now in his first home game in charge his side could move to the top of the league with a win over Luton, but John Still's side are flying after nine wins from their last 11 in the league.

Hartlepool could move off the bottom of the table with a win over struggling York at Victoria Park, while Shrewsbury look to build on their midweek FA cup heroics away at Exeter.

  15. KICK-OFFpublished at 12:16 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2014

Sheffield Wednesday boss Stuart Gray told Sky Sports: "We haven't won in nine but I've been delighted with our performances. I've every confidence we can get a good result today."

Huddersfield Town boss Chris Powell added: "Our home form has been good and we want to turn this place into a fortress."

  16. League One previewpublished at 12:13 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2014

The stand-out fixture in League One sees first take on third at Ashton Gate. Bristol City's unbeaten start to the season finally came to an end last weekend, now faltering Preston will be looking to topple the division's pace-setters.

It was Mark Cooper's Swindon who put a stop to City's run. They now look to build on that win away at Peterborough, who have slipped away from the automatic promotion spots after three defeats in four.

Barnsley will take a bumper away following across South Yorkshire to Chesterfield, as they look for a third win on the bounce.

  17. Move for Zokopublished at 12:12 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2014

League One side Bradford City have signed Francois Zoko on a loan deal until January from Championship strugglers Blackpool.

The 31-year-old striker joined The Seasiders in the summer, but is yet to start a match under new manager Lee Clark. Zoko has made 14 appearances so far this season, but will now stay with The Bantams until 17 January.

He will be available to make his Bradford debut against Gillingham at Valley Parade today.

"Jimmy is a huge name but he has been prepared to say 'I will go down to a lower league team'.

"His mindset is fantastic to go there and work with players he's probably never heard of and work to improve them."

Hasselbaink guided Burton to a 3-1 win at Wycombe in his first match in charge. The Brewers take on table-topping Luton today.

Former Leeds, Chelsea and Middlesbrough striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been hired as manager of League Two Burton. He has been talking to Football Focus:

"I don't see it as League Two," says Hasselbaink. "I see it as a great opportunity to work at a great club, with great players and a good setup. These opportunities don't often come up which is why I wanted to grab it with both hands.

"I've applied for a few jobs but that is in the past and hopefully I can bring some success here.

"I like to be on the pitch coaching with the players. In Holland there is a mentality that you go to train the young ones first. Having grown up in Holland it is a normal process.

"My time of football is finished and now it is about looking forward as a coach and getting good football being played."

  20. Sturridge blow for Liverpoolpublished at 11:57 Greenwich Mean Time 22 November 2014

    BBC Radio 5 live

Liverpool and England striker Daniel Sturridge will be out until the New Year with a thigh injury.

"When you've had injuries, one of biggest things that sticks in your mind when you go back on to the pitch is 'is my body going to survive?' It's the last thing you want on your mind as a player," says former England midfielder Jermaine Jenas.

"There are two issues around Daniel Sturridge. One is that Liverpool are struggling and desperate to get him back. Whether they are rushing him, I'm not sure.

"The second thing is that, as a player, your patience is shocking. You always want to get out on to the pitch and push yourself that little bit further.

"In this case Sturridge probably came back from his last injury, thought 'the gaffer is going to start me after the international break', pushed too hard and had a recurrence of the first injury."
