Rangers striker Kris Boyd fends off Steven Anderson - no mean feat - using a rugby-style hand-off at Ibrox.
Tom English has been writing on the BBC Sport website about the latest goings-on at Ibrox. It's well worth a read.
Murray8Davidson, external: "On route to hospital to get checked out, needing stitched but hopefully the eye itself is ok! #gutted". Good to hear from the Saints midfielder. Let's hope he gets patched up and is 100% fit very soon.
BBC Scotland football pundit Michael Stewart
"That intimidation factor that you used to get at Ibrox and Celtic Park is not as big as it used to be in years gone by.
"Far too often [Ian] Black and [Nicky] Law pick up and it's slow. Move forward, commit! It's slow and lethargic. You need a bit of dynamism."
Lee Croft's free-kick is headed clear from the Rangers box and Chris Millar smacks a shot at goal from distance that Steve Simonsen saves.
Ricky Foster makes a fine defensive header in the six-yard box to deny the on-rushing Saints striker Brian Graham.
Lewis Macleod, normally such an elegant player for Rangers, makes a total mess of his free-kick from out on the left. He just caught it all wrong - it was a bit like a golf shot that you think will bend towards the green...but doesn't.
Well, let's hope things improve at Ibrox. If not, Ross, there's always the Texas Rangers...
Ross: "I am true blue living in Houston Texas following the game online. Every morning I check the news on my team and it gets more and more depressing. Going from crisis to crisis. Maybe it's a good thing I am 5000 miles away!"
Lee Croft makes an excellent run down the right and lofts the perfect cross to the back post for Frazer Wright, but the Saints defender, unmarked, heads a yard over from seven yards out. That was the best chance of the match.
BBC Scotland football pundit Allan Preston
"I've been disappointed in the creative players tonight."
Steven Anderson, a player who always looks as if he just loves defending, harries Rangers striker Kris Boyd down the left wing and concedes a corner. My, we need some goalmouth chances, folks!
Lewis Macleod's poor delivery is flicked on by Lee McCulloch's foot and it deflects off a Saints player. From Rangers' next corner, the ball falls to Lee Wallace who balloons it high, high over the bar.
We've just had the one attempt on target so far, that Kris Boyd effort saved well by Alan Mannus in the Saints goal. Rangers have a corner...
Anthony Miller: "@BBCSportScot I hope Rangers win ( from a Celtic fan), I really want another Old Firm derby. #bbcscotfootball"
Frazer Wright goes into challenge Rangers midfielder Nicky Law.
BBC Scotland football pundit Willie Miller
"You've got to make your passes count. I think the game has been played, funnily enough, at too high a tempo. The players have to get their accuracy going."
Anon. "For all those who say protesting is pointless, if you're not prepared to use the ultimate sanction, then by inference your saying do what you like. Bearing in mind packed games never stopped the club going into administration? You have to have the courage to act." Please do add your name to text messages as we like to credit you.
Rangers midfielder Ian Black tries a very ambitious pass down the right wing, trying to thread the ball between Brian Easton and the touchline, where Fraser Aird was scampering. However, the ball rolls out for a throw-in and the teams try to find a bit of momentum.
