Sadly, it's the end of the match for the talented Davidson. He sat up and was talking to the medical staff but he has now been stretchered off and Gary McDonald has taken his place in the Saints midfield.

St Johnstone midfielder Murray Davidson is receiving treatment for a face knock after a heavy collision with Nicky Law. That looked a painful one. He's looking rather groggy.

While there's a lull in play, yet more off-field Rangers news... BBC Scotland has learned that the club has taken on Sports Direct executive Barry Leach as a consultant.
