    The first save from David De Gea to deny Mame Diouf was outstanding, though the striker obviously think he should have buried it. Ashley Young was then the hero with a goal-line clearance. Who would have called that?

    Crystal Palace need to do some crossing and finishing practice in training this week. They continue to have plenty of possession but continually fail to make it count. Perhaps Aston Villa should get some credit for that, though?
