Slow start from champions Manchester City, whose only moment of danger was a Jesus Navas cross flashed across goal. Perhaps unsurprisingly, they look shaky at the back without Vincent Kompany.

Match of the Day on tonight
FT: Arsenal 1-0 Southampton - Sanchez late on
Everton 1-1 Hull - Aluko levels for Tigers
FT: Sunderland 1-4 Man City

Conor McNamara
BBC 5 live commentator at Goodison Park
"Not the most assured of starts so far from Everton.
"Despite the fire-power they have up front, they're not really getting the ball to the likes of Kevin Mirallas yet."
Harry Kane! He does everything right, everything but the goal. He is too strong for Gary Cahill, mugging the England man on the touchline, before driving into the box, showing neat feet to sidestep Cahill's recovery tackle - but his left-footed drive is across goal and wide.
Very strong start from Spurs.
Robert Snodgrass
Hull midfielder on 5 live Sport
"Hull look as though they're going for it at Goodison Park so far and that's a positive response after the weekend's defeat to Manchester United."
Hull have had a lot of possession, with Nikica Jelavic causing his old club plenty of problems at the back. But they've not tested Tim Howard yet, who has just taken a heavy fall but appears to be fit to continue.
Michael the Chelsea fan in Basingstoke: Let's not forget Mourinho's 04-05 95 points record holders only lost once, a 1-0 defeat to a Man City Nicholas Anelka penalty.
I had forgotten that Mike...
MOTD's Steve Wilson at Stamford Bridge
"Ten minutes into this game and Tottenham look livelier and brighter than Chelsea. Mauricio Pochettino must be delighted."
Best moment yet for Arsenal. Danny Welbeck gambles on a throughball from Santi Cazorla, gets there before Fraser Forster in the Saints goal but can only shovel his shot wide. Excellent pace and movement from the England man though.
Jan Vertonghen and Gary Cahill are both back with us after that collision - and what a chance! Aaron Lennon crosses in on the run, Harry Kane gets clear inside the area and his header smashes against the crossbar!
More evidence that Kane could be the real deal...
Sunderland string together a neat move down the right and former City man Jack Rodwell has the game's first chance, hitting in a low shot which is well blocked by Pablo Zabaleta. Sunderland going for a fifth home win in a row against the champions.
Chance! Spurs win a free-kick on the left, the ball in is not the best but Vlad Chiriches crosses in and Jan Vertonghen heads over. Worryingly, Vertonghen then heads Gary Cahill on the follow-through and Cahill is in trouble.
A big collision, lengthy stoppage on the cards here.
Confident start from Southampton at the Emirates, with Nathaniel Clyne offering plenty of width down the right in the opening stages.
Goodison looks full enough. Can Hull end their bad run of form? Even opening so far.
Pete in London: As an Arsenal fan, I'm oddly backing a Spurs win. Can't think of anything worse than Chelsea going a season unbeaten. The sooner they lose the better.
Lots and lots of empty seats at Sunderland too. Are there a load of season ticket holders at home just realising that these games are on...?
Still plenty of empty seats for this London derby - travel problems in the capital? Travel problems for Spurs in the opening stages as they can't get near the ball. Congestion down the Chelsea left flank.
Game on! We are under way at all four games.

Rob in Bournemouth: Loving the Metal Gear Solid reference! City should walk this one anyway, now where's my copy of the game!
Sensible precautions from the mascots at the Bridge - all wearing thermal undergear. The lights go down at Stamford Bridge - is that a powercut or some sort of festive light show?
It was intended. Fear not, we won't have a delay.
