"Manchester City are very happy to contain Leicester. City want to keep the ball and slow it down. They will be happy to take a 1-0, but if Leicester keep pressing and find themselves exposed, City have got the quality to pick them off. Leicester have been really good in every department apart from their play in the final third. They just don't have that quality."

Stoke's problem today is their inability to get Bojan on the ball in the final third. Surely the Spanish playmaker is playing too deep? Check out his touch map:

The game still intriguingly poised at Turf Moor. The home side are the latest to threaten, Danny Ings forcing Fraser Forster into action with a low drive. George Boyd collects the rebound but he's offside.

    Anyone up for a winner?

Brown Ideye volleys over from Silvestre Varela's cross as West Brom waste another opportunity to take the lead. They are struggling to make the most of their one-man advantage and Saido Berahino looks set to make an appearance from the bench shortly.

How many Rochdale fans have made the pre-Christmas long journey to Colchester? 150? 300? Those that have made the effort are having a day to remember as their side lead 4-1 in League One. Swindon are leading 3-0 at Notts County and will finish the day top of the table unless Bristol City can break the deadlock at home to Crawley.

Game, set and the match. Chelsea finally put some neat play together and craft a lovely goal. Eden Hazard carries the ball from left to right, looks up and slides in a pass to Diego Costa, who is deadly from inside 10 yards. He slots it into the far corner.

"Jose Pozo has been offside four times in a row now. The problem City have got is they have no other striking options on the bench."

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2014

We may get more red cards at Stamford Bridge yet. It's been an ugly game at times, James Chester the latest man booked for taking out Oscar. Into the last 25 minutes, there have been seven bookings and a red.

Sam Allardyce described Andy Carroll as unstoppable after he scored two goals last week, he hasn't had too much of an influence in this fixture but he goes close with a clipped effort that is just over the bar.

"I keep going on about the importance of composure in the last 30 metres of the pitch and we have just had another classic example as Jamie Vardy, who's been looking very sharp, blasts high and wide. Leonardo Ulloa has come on for Leicester now, and I think they will go to 4-3-3, with Ulloa in the middle, Vardy high on the right and Riyad Mahrez on the left."

"You cannot defend that red card for Tom Huddlestone, I'm sorry. It is a stamp but he did not need to do. Hull were still in that game at 1-0 but now Chelsea will definitely have the upper hand.

"You can understand the frustration from the Hull players. Three times today Willian, Cahill and Costa have gone down under no pressure."

What a day for 18-year-old Demarai Gray. The England Under-19 international has helped himself to a first half hat-trick against Reading in the Championship for his home-town club Birmingham City, who lead 5-1.

Elsewhere, Norwich City have scored three goals in five second half minutes and now lead 10-man Huddersfield 3-0, Bradley Johnson scoring two and Nathan Redmond also on the mark.

Cardiff's Sean Morrison has pulled a goal back at Bournemouth, who lead 3-2. But it's significant as it means Middlesbrough return to the top of the table on goal difference - for now.

Former Stoke and Tottenham striker Garth Crooks
    Final Score

"In my day, if I had done what Tom Huddlestone has just done one of my teammates would have had me by the throat. He has let his own emotions get on top of him. He had no discipline, and that was cold and calculated."
