Tom Homes: There are so many worse things in football than diving. It's a yellow card and that should be the end of it.
Kuntal Majumdar: I really hope Howard Webb comes out and starts explaining key decisions as a part of his new role.
Matthew Turner: Fine the diver a weeks wages and have the payment donated to a charity.
Diving certainly seems to have divided all of you on the appropriate punishment. Keep your thoughts coming in by using #bbcfootball, external on Twitter, send a text to 81111 (UK only), or post a comment on the BBC Sport Facebook, external or Google+, external page.
Cheick Tiote was wild when he caught Alexis Sanchez in the first half, and another lunge sees him go into the book. Some really poor tackles going in at times.

"The goalkeeper didn't even see that one coming. It is a real smart finish from Olivier Giroud, with the outside of his left foot. Jak Alnwick just did not even see it."
How on earth did he get that in?!
Olivier Giroud has his second with an outrageous one-touch finish. He may just be offside as he meets Hector Bellerin's low cross at the near post, but he finishes it brilliantly.
He goes with the outside of his left foot when his right foot appeared much more likely. One touch flicked into the roof of the net off the inside of the post.
Matt Turner in Norwich: Andy would it really be interesting to drag referees out at the end of a game to explain themselves? I suspect they would probably say 'I wasn't 100% sure and therefore didn't give the decision or 'I didn't think it was a dive'. Unlikely that exposing a referee to the media would quell any fans sense of injustice or be particularly entertaining.
Russel in Torquay: Diving IS ruining the beautiful game, no question. Since the moment Jay Rodriguez dived against Villa, the game I love just hasn't felt the same, and I'm not sure it ever will again.
Would a public apology have helped Russel?

"Talk about diving - Fabricio Coloccini dived in and Santi Cazorla could have gone over, but he leaped over it and finished brilliantly. That shows honesty and aggression. He could have gone down, but instead he stayed on his feet and scored a goal."

"Good build-up and movement again from Arsenal, Fabricio Coloccini tried to make the tackle, but any challenge and Santi Cazorla gets a penalty. Jak Alnwick did well to close the angle, but it was a lovely finish by Cazorla. Alnwick has not come up against quality like that before."
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew reacts to that goal with two instant subs. On come Remy Cabella and Emmanuel Riviere for Papiss Cisse and Sammy Ameobi.
And there it is! A fine goal, first-class finish from birthday boy Santi Cazorla. Again Alexis Sanchez is the architect, sliding a slick pass into the feet of the Spaniard, he breaks a tackle on the edge of the box, waits for goalkeeper Jak Alnwick to set himself and then slams home into the roof of the net. Excellent goal.
Alexis Sanchez does Mike Williamson with an outrageous dummy on the halfway line and looks like breaking through until Chieck Tiote fells him with a wonderful tackle this time. Game has gone flat, needs a moment to raise the crowd.
Great header again by Olivier Giroud - at the other end this time, clearing his lines as an auxiliary defender at the front post. He gives the Gunners a different dimension.
Dan in Reading: Sin bin? No, make the offender lie down in the goal for 15 minutes - humiliate the cheats.
Ben in Bath: What the game needs is an orange card for diving. It won't mean anything during the game, but the incident is looked at after and if found guilty of diving, the player is given a 3 game ban! That would finally get rid of it.
Dave in Andover: In my Sunday pub league team we had a player dive and the manager subbed him and fined him and sat him on the bench the next game even though he was our top scorer.

Referee Lee Mason ticks off Jack Colback for fouling Alexis Sanchez, who has got a bee in his bonnet about some of the challenges put in on him so far. The form Sanchez is in, you have to get at him though, surely?

"There will still be chances for Newcastle, but they are going to have to move the ball much quicker. So far they have not asked enough questions of a makeshift Arsenal defence. Per Mertesacker is not the quickest but the Newcastle attack have not run at him."
Man City's midfielder Yaya Toure:, external Happy to be heading back to Manchester with another three points! Thank you to all those that cheered us on! Special mention to my teammate Frank Lampard - 175 goals in the Premier League! Wow. Always a pleasure to play with him. Top player.
Back in play at the Arsenal. Can Alan Pardew's visitors raise it a notch?
Hull City's David Meyler:, external Tough game today at Stamford Bridge. Great support from the Hull fans - onto the next game now at home against Swansea. Hopefully get a win.
And Curtis Davies:, external Glad to return to the starting 11 today. Not the result we wanted but the effort from the lads was great especially, with 10 men for 30 minutes.
"It's alright to say things can only get better, You haven't lost your brand new sweater."
Great lyrics of course to a great track. But if you're the Tranmere fan who left your jumper in the away end at Dagenham & Redbridge this afternoon, the club have tweeted that it'll be at Prenton Park on Monday! They brought it home with them.
Three points and a jumper in the bag. Tremendous day's work.
A win this afternoon would leave Arsenal level on points with Southampton, chasing down a place in the top four. Are they going to get back into the Champions League next season?
