Tom from Huddersfield on text: Personally from a losing side's point of view I would hate to see Reading draw United or Chelsea away because of the frustration of seeing all that revenue dropped especially when we are near the end of our budget .

Tom in Margate: As a West Ham fan, would love to be drawn with AFC Wimbledon. Would be billed as a Merseyside derby but with a bit of luck could be a fun London derby day out.

Match summariser Martin Keown on Steven Gerrard's departure: "I'm not sure if Brendan Rogers has a problem dealing with these kind of iconic players. Jamie Carragher was allowed to leave too easily.

"When Steven Gerrard returned from the World Cup, there should have been a contract in the offing then."

Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy on Steven Gerrard's departure from Anfield at the end of the season: "When I first heard that Liverpool hadn't offered him anything I thought that was not the Liverpool way if they wanted to keep him.

"After that I never thought he would stay. It's a shame in many ways but it's a chance for him to have a change and a change of lifestyle."

FA Cup success or Premier League survival? Burnley's George Boyd is in no doubt that the latter should be the Clarets' priority.

But the Scotland winger, who reached the final with Hull last season, also believes another good result over Premier League opposition could give them a further boost.

"These were a tough run of fixtures and nobody expected us to get anything probably but we've shown our character again," Boyd said, referring to the recent draws at Newcastle and Manchester City.

"We can go into our next run of games full of confidence now on the back of the last two results. The FA Cup still has that magic and I was lucky enough to get to the final last year with Hull City and that was a great occasion."

A cheeky little look at Google trends reveals some interesting searches that have been undertaken over this FA Cup third-round weekend. The usual suspects dominate the most searched-for teams in the shape of Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool the top three but coming in at number four is Dover Athletic, who were beaten 4-0 by Crystal Palace in Alan Pardew's first game as Eagles boss.

Making his presence felt in the top five most searched-for players is a man we'll be seeing plenty of tonight: AFC Wimbledon's Adebayo Akinfenwa at five. Just above him is Wimbledon legend Vinnie Jones, showing that while the 'Crazy Gang' are gone they have certainly not been forgotten. Unless it was just because X-Men: Last Stand was on or something.

"Hopefully in a couple of years they will be back in Merton and they can knock on the door of the Premier League again and that will be the second biggest story after what happened last time."

Championship side Brighton have a bit of history with the FA Cup, having lost the 1983 final after a replay to Manchester United.

The first match ended in a 2-2 draw, a game that was famous for the radio commentary "and Smith must score" talking about a shot by Gordon Smith which was saved by the Manchester United goalkeeper Gary Bailey.

Brighton's new boss Chris Hughton did win the FA Cup twice as a player with Tottenham, in 1981 and 1982.

Both teams come into this match in a bit of form.

Spurs have not lost in six games, winning five of them, including a 5-3 victory over Chelsea last week and a 2-1 win at home to Burnley on 20 December.

The Clarets have showed their fighting spirit to come from behind in their last two matches at Manchester City and Newcastle to record draws.

Expect changes from both this evening though.

Burnley and Tottenham are ball number 18 in the fourth round draw.
