Just two more FA Cup third round ties left to play - except those who need to battle it out in a replay of course.

Everton entertain West Ham tomorrow night in an all-Premier League tie, while League One sides Scunthorpe and Chesterfield play each other for a fourth-round place.

You can follow live text of both games on the BBC Sport website as well as commentary on BBC Radio Live from Goodison Park. You can also follow all the reaction to tonight's games, the draw and any transfer news on BBC Sportsday from 08:00 GMT.

For me though, I bid you farewell. It's been a pleasure.

    Stats

There was a lot less action at Turf Moor. At half time, neither side had managed a shot on or off target, so at least it got a bit better after the break.

There was certainly plenty of action at AFC Wimbledon this evening. Liverpool, as expected, had the better chances but the League Two side gave them a scare. A cracking FA Cup third round tie. Bolton at Anfield in the next round.

AFC Wimbledon striker Adebayo Akinfenwa: "Liverpool kept the ball and kept it well. That is more running than I've done in my career. We can go away with our heads held high.

"I like the hustle and bustle, it is the chasing the midfielders back that I don't like. I'm disappointed with the result as a draw would have been cool and to go back to Anfield. We lost to a piece of magic from Steven Gerrard. But Liverpool know they were in a game today."

AFC Wimbledon manager Neal Ardley: "In the first 25 minutes we looked nervous. They took me too literally about our shape but when we grew in the game and in confidence we caused them problems. In the first half, we had all of the best chances but they have some good players on the counter-attack and in the last 20 minutes we run out of legs and they had a lot of chances. I've told the players they have done the club proud but also they should kick themselves because we are in the business of winning and not being good losers."

  9. Manager reactionpublished at 22:08 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2015

Burnley manager Sean Dyche: "It was a game of very few chances. They made seven changes and had a team only £130m worth. It was a lacklustre game, with little atmosphere. We did everything to try and get a result.

"The massive plus is Sam Vokes getting a goal on his recovery. He is on his way back to full fitness. Our mentality is solid and our physicality is outstanding."

  10. Manager reactionpublished at 22:06 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2015

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino: "The first half was difficult and poor. But the second half was a turnaround. We scored and the game was ours but you never give up and they got back in the game. I am disappointed because we have to play another game. We have a lot of games ahead.

"Amazing support from our fans. Thank you very much."

    Celtic celebrateImage source, PA

Celtic are now within a point of Scottish Premiership leaders Aberdeen and have a game in hand following a convincing 2-0 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. Kris Commons was the key player for Celtic, tormenting the home defence and peppering Craig Samson's goal with shots and twice hitting the crossbar. Aberdeen can move further ahead on Saturday if they win away to St Mirren while Celtic opt to take a one-match winter break.

    Brendan RodgersImage source, PA

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers told BBC Sport: "It was a very tough game, congratulations to AFC Wimbledon - they made it very difficult.

"We started well like we'd want to, controlling the game but then we lost our shape within the game. And we presented them chances by giving the ball away.

"We adapted at half-time but we still had to defend all the way through to the end. The physicality always puts you under pressure - they have good delivery. The ball came into the box consistently and of course that can be a threat. You'll never be overly comfortable in those situations.

"I've got to give a lot of testament to my players - they showed a lot of character. In the second half, we should have had two or three more goals."

  16. Player reactionpublished at 21:56 Greenwich Mean Time 5 January 2015

Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard: "I always enjoy the FA Cup. I've grown up loving the competition. It is going to be my last time so I want to go all the way. This is the beauty of the FA Cup, form goes out of the window. Wimbledon were honest and gave us a real test.

"If I wasn't here playing for this team I would be in the stands watching. I know what it means to the supporters and that is why I try to give it my best. We have to take each game as it comes. Bolton in the next round will be a difficult test. Winning this competition is what dreams are made of and hopefully that will be the case."

Incidentally, Gerrard will be 35 on Cup final day...

Fair to say Steven Gerrard was all over the place this evening. The Liverpool skipper had 69 touches, most of them in the attacking half as the graphic above shows, and scored both of Liverpool's goals. A decent night's work.

Match of the Day's Alan Shearer

"It was a great cup tie, it had everything. There were chances at both ends. How many times have we said Steven Gerrard has dragged Liverpool by the scruff of the neck. Without a doubt for me, he was man of the match. He gives Liverpool more the further forward you push him. He knows where to go and what positions to take up."
