"I think 1-1 is not a bad result for PSG - they know that a goal away at Stamford Bridge and they could easily be heading through."

Kanayo Umeogu: I can't remember the last time I saw Chelsea play so poorly. PSG didn't even need a goalie in this second half.

The Arch: Fabregas has offered nothing since around October time. Passenger.

Saint Patrick: Good solid substitution pulling Willian from the game - he was left behind in London, really.

Javier Pastore has certainly looked lively since his introduction, he plays a clever flick between two defenders for Blaise Matuidi, but he can't get his shot off. PSG are on the hunt, though.

  8. Postpublished at 21:28 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2015

Edinson Cavani goes for the spectacular with an attempt at an overhead volley as Javier Pastore hooks the ball into the centre of the area, he fails to connect with the ball, but that is about the only thing he has done wrong in this game.

Loic Remy is substituted for Diego CostaImage source, Getty Images

"Diego Costa was really disappointing, from the first few minutes when it was obvious his first touch wasn't quite there. It's so hard to be put back in into a match of this significance."

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2015

Diego Costa's game is also over, the striker is replaced by Loic Remy for the final few minutes.

Dave: What a player Verratti looks! Van Gaal put a bid in please!

Tom Lane: Costa seems a tad subdued after his ban. Don't write him off though.

Mich in Leeds: Is it Kick Hazard day? He's been kicked up and down the Parc des Princes all game!

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2015

A change for PSG now as Javier Pastore, who scored in PSG's 3-1 win at Parc des Princes in last year's quarter-final with Chelsea, comes on for Ezequiel Lavezzi. Cesc Fabregas is then replaced by Oscar for Chelsea.

"Cuadrado will provide Chelsea with massive running ability down the right-hand side. If Chelas get pinned back he can break for them - he has so much pace and energy."

  14. CLOSE!published at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2015

Brilliant work by Edinson Cavani as he shows great footwork to evade two defenders inside the area and give himself sight of goal, he pokes an effort towards the far corner but it drifts just wide of the post. So close.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2015

Jose Mourinho makes his first change of the game, as Juan Cuadrado replaces Willian. Loic Remy also looks set to come on, as he receives some instructions from Mourinho.

    David Luiz reactsImage source, EPA

David Luiz's first game in midfield for PSG did not look to be working particularly well in the first half, but he is certainly much more involved in this half.

He is getting back to pick up the ball from defence and then is quickly up to support attacks, but they are not being direct enough. Chelsea are coping well with things at the moment.

  18. Football League latestpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2015

There is a belting game taking place at the New York Stadium, where it is now Rotherham 3-2 Derby. Matt Derbyshire's goal had put the Millers firmly in control but Tom Ince's second of the game has pulled second-placed Derby back into it. Only one goal in the other two games and it separates Wigan and Reading in favour of the former. In League One, Doncaster and Crewe are level at 1-1 with Dean Furman's goal bringing Rovers back into the game.

  19. Postpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2015

This is David Luiz's moment. PSG win a free-kick, 30 yards from goal and Luiz fancies it. He steps back, runs up and...strikes the wall. Relief in the away end.
