Despite having to defend for long periods of the game, Chelsea have had a lot of possession. It has definitely not been a one-sided affair, with Chelsea doing what they have to do and doing it well. PSG have not lost a game at home since May, could that record come to an end tonight?

What does Jose Mourinho do in the second half? Does he do what the Chelsea coach driver could not manage before the game and park the bus (last one, I promise), or go for a second and leave PSG with a real mountain to climb?

"I definitely think the referee should have given a yellow card by now. The tackles are still flying in and the players are still being aggressive. Ibrahimovic and Matic should have been booked - if those players were on yellow cards the tempo of the game would have dropped.

"Chelsea have got that away goal. That man Ivanovic - he comes up trumps on the big occasions. And Courtois has made three excellent saves. Selections already paying off for Mourinho."

So far so good for Chelsea, they've dealt with what PSG have thrown at them, and nicked a goal. Chelsea have the advantage at the break.

Cheeky from David Luiz. The referee whips out his magic spray, draws the line for the free-kick but Luiz smudges it a little over to the left. Zlatan Ibrahimovic steps up for the free-kick but launches it well over the bar.

Lisa in London: Jose's bus is beautifully parked and polished. Soak up the pressure and nick a goal against the run of play. Another vital goal from Ivanovic!

Yousif Hameed: Terry to Cahill to Ivanovic. Who needs strikers?

Matt from Kent: Can anyone else hear a bus reversing?

Does Branislav Ivanovic score meaningless goals? He has got the winners against Liverpool and Aston Villa in recent weeks, and now has a potentially crucial one in this tie.

The deadlock in the Championship is broken and it is a potentially big goal for struggling Wigan, who have taken the lead at Reading through Jason Pearce. You wait ages for one goal and then three come at once... Rotherham took a surprise lead against second-placed Derby through Paul Green but then immediately conceded, with Tom Ince firing home. There has also been a goal in League Two, with Rakish Bingham making it Mansfield 1-0 Luton. In League One, Sheffield United and Notts County are drawing 1-1. Branislav Ivanovic's goal was Chelsea's first non-blocked shot of the game tonight. PSG have been the better side, had the better chances but one shot on target and one goal for Chelsea. Clinical.

"Chelsea worked the cross really well. Terry whipped the ball into the box, on by Cahill with a deft flick, and how many times have we seen this from Ivanovic? He always delivers in the big games!"

Branislav Ivanovic does it again! He gets in the right place at the right time to fire Chelsea in front and it comes from quite an unusual attacking combination. John Terry swings in the cross, Gary Cahill flicks it on and Ivanovic reacts superbly to power in the header.

Cesar Azpilicueta takes no chances with an Ezequiel Lavezzi cross, chesting behind for a corner. Lavezzi takes it, hitting it hard and low towards the near post where Edinson Cavani runs to power in a header that Thibaut Courtois pushes behind.

Diego Costa on the ballImage source, Getty Images

Diego Costa, who has not played in Chelsea's last three games because of suspension, does look little short of match awareness, if not match fitness. He takes a second too long to make a decision when he is in possession and has not yet been able to have an impact in this game, yet.

Mike Hall: Does anyone, save the bookies oddly enough, think PSG have a chance against this full-strength and rested Chelsea team?

MW Goldfix: Ibrahimovic is a flat track bully. He's never delivered on the big stage.

Matthew Smith: Poor ball retention from Chelsea so far. PSG have the midfield under control. More needed from Fabregas and Ramires.
