Barcelona did look a class above all night really. El Clasico should be good on Sunday...
Howard Horner: Hart was outstanding, but don't let that distract from just how massively City were outclassed today. Light years from Barca
Mark Savile: What's the surprise? Barca are world class, no premier league team is, not City or Chelsea
mooBaka: I expect Pellegrini to be sacked in the morning. Trophyless season for City and all.
MOTD presenter Gary Lineker:, external But for a truly astonishing display of goalkeeping from Joe Hart, our Premier League champions would be going home humiliated.
MOTD commentator Guy Mowbray:, external Real Madrid want De Gea - & Barcelona might want Hart after that. Mind you, he wouldn't get to shine like that often in their goal.
BBC Radio 5 live commentator Conor McNamara:, external Joe Hart. Best goalkeeping performance since Captain Robert Hatch (pictured).

"Joe Hart was absolutely outstanding. Whenever he was called upon he was there. He was a presence and without him and the form he was in it could easily have been eight or nine."
Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart on Sky Sports: "We've gone out to a magnificent side for the second time in two years. They will get a lot of plaudits but we had a big chance with the penalty. We hung in there and didn't take it.
"It's unfortunate that I saved a penalty from Lionel Messi and it didn't count in the end. I'm in there to make saves and they hit me a lot of times tonight. I was busy, it was definitely busy! I just tried to smother them, they are always looking for a pass and you have to try and make them rush. I don't know how Neymar's chance stayed out at the start."
Midfielder James Milner: "Joe Hart was incredible. He's shown what a great goalkeeper he is. It could have been out of sight but he was amazing tonight. We didn't show our best over booth legs for long enough."
There's been late drama at the Pirelli Stadium where 10-man Burton have defeated Southend 2-1 to move five points clear at the League Two summit.
The hosts were losing 1-0 and down to 10 men at the break but Matt Palmer levelled early in the second half before Abdenasser El Khayati popped up with an 89th-minute winner
In the Championship, the final whistle has gone at the City Ground where Nottingham Forest have beaten Rotherham 2-0. There's still a few minutes left in the night's other match at Craven Cottage, where Leeds lead 10-man Fulham 2-0.

"There's not a lot of pace in that side. Aguero is a threat but they (City) are a team of plodders, in a way. The higher you go you need to have that variation."
Former Manchester City keeper Shay Given: Shame for @MCFC going out but @FCBarcelona amazing team, Joe Hart was brilliant
Everton
So Everton are the last Premier League side standing in Europe. Tomorrow night they take on Dynamo Kiev in the Europa League.
Read the preview here, and join us for that game after work.
England women's captain Steph Houghton: "Joe Hart outstanding... #Messi unbelievable"
Joe Hart made 10 saves in that game. Barca had 23 efforts on goal, while City managed 15. A great game.
Lionel Messi is the latest Barca attacker to embrace Joe Hart. If Cristiano Ronaldo ends up as the all-time record Champions League goalscorer, he'll owe Hart a pint or two.
Robbie Savage
BBC Radio 5 live
"Could it be the end for Manuel Pellegrini this season? They have been absolutely battered. City were miles, miles, miles behind Barcelona."
Manchester City are out, Barcelona were brilliant and complete the last eight.
You'll never beat Joe Hart! Neymar is denied yet again, and again Barca were clean through on goal. Luis Suarez comes over to shake hands with Hart, a huge smile on both of their faces.
TWO MINUTES added on. The best goalkeeping performance ever? I don't know about that - but without Joe Hart it would have been four or maybe five, six nil...
Robbie Savage
BBC Radio 5 live
"This is one of the best goalkeeping displays I have ever seen. It's absolutely magnificent. This has been one of the most incredible goalkeeping performances - for nothing."
Juventus are into the quarter-finals
That is an amazing stop! Barcelona break away, they have four-on-two! Neymar is in, he squares it to Lionel Messi, he spins away from Bacary Sagna and surely will score - but Joe Hart again somehow appears to make the stop! That's the best of the lot.
Messi was only six yards out.
Tim Riley: Will we see Toure playing for City next season? I sincerely hope not...nor Nasri/Kolarov/Clichy/Sagna/Navas/Fernando or Dzeko!
Nic Weatherill: In the final third of the pitch city have been woeful. No movement from anyone off the ball when going forwards!
Stavros Makrozachpo: That profligacy in front of goal is no laughing matter for Barcelona. It will cost them in the latter stages
