"Ridiculous. Completely and utterly stupid from Gylfi Sigurdsson. It's a stupid kick, and now he's got a straight red card and will miss games. You feel a bit sorry for Swansea because they have worked so hard. For the third goal, Lukasz Fabianski hadn't put a foot wrong before but made a big mistake. Blackburn have been the better side though, and they deserve to win the game. There will be questions about the early sending off, but Blackburn have still scored three goals against a Premier League side."
A disastrous end to this game for Swansea as Gylfi Sigurdsson becomes their second player to be dismissed as he dives in on Chris Taylor. Swansea boss Garry Monk kicks the floor in frustration. A bad day in the office.
Patrick Awards:, external Rove, Rove Rove your boat, Rove it down Swan-Sea, Merrily Merrily Merrily Merrily football is but a dream. One more? Rovers?
Swansea are all over the place at the back as they push for an equaliser and they are punished as Craig Conway rattles off a shot from distance, Lukasz Fabianski fluffs his save and the ball trickles under him and into the net.
Game over.
Blackburn keeper Simon Eastwood has had very little to do in this half but he is called into action when Nelson Oliveira sweeps a low shot straight at him. Garry Monk roars his side on from the touchline, but time is running out...
Swansea are desperate to win back possession at every opportunity and Nathan Dyer earns himself a booking when he goes in late on Jason Lowe.
Swansea unsurprisingly are showing much more urgency after going behind and Gylfi Sigurdsson plays a brilliant ball through the Blackburn defence for Angel Rangel, but Shane Duffy is alert to it and slides in to block the shot.
Sylvain Ebanks-Blake starts for Preston for the first time as they face a Sheffield United side boasting eight changes at Deepdale.
North End make five changes of their own, as Ebanks-Blake comes in for Jermaine Beckford - who misses out with an ear infection, while goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann is in for the cup-tied Sam Johnstone.
Sheffield United suffered League Cup semi-final defeat in their first-leg meeting with Tottenham on Wednesday and only Louis Reed, Chris Basham and goalkeeper Mark Howard keep their places.
Preston: Stuckmann, Woods, Clarke, Huntington, Buchanan, Welsh, Kilkenny, Gallagher, Reid, Humphrey, Ebanks-Blake.
Sheffield United: Howard, Alcock, Basham, Baxter, Davies, McGahey, Higdon, Reed, De Girolamo, Kennedy, Dimaio
Striker Kenwyne Jones, who played in the 2011 FA Cup final for Stoke, is one of three changes for Cardiff City from their 2-1 defeat at Middlesbrough on Tuesday, with defenders Fabio and Scott Malone also starting.
Midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah, who joined Reading on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season on Thursday, makes his Royals debut, while Nick Blackman replaces Hal Robson-Kanu in the only other change for Steve Clarke's side.
Cardiff XI: Moore, Fabio, Malone, Turner, Morrison, Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Harris, Noone, Jones, Revell.
Reading XI: Federici, Gunter, Pearce, Hector, Obita, Chalobah, McCleary, Williams, Norwood, Blackman, Pogrebnyak.

Three changes from the Sunderland side which lost at Tottenham a week ago, with Vito Mannone replacing Costel Pantilimon between the sticks and Sebastian Coates in for Wes Brown. Liam Bridcutt also comes in, while Adam Johnson is left out completely. Jermain Defoe again partners Steven Fletcher up front.
Fulham boss Kit Symons makes four changes from the side which beat Nottingham Forest in the Championship in midweek, with 10-goal Ross McCormack and Hugo Rodallega dropping to the bench and Scott Parker given the day off.
Sunderland XI: Mannone, Jones, van Aanholt, O'Shea,, Coates, Vergini, Bridcutt, Larsson, Rodwell, Fletcher, Defoe.

"Swansea are a goal down and have to go and attack it, but Blackburn look like there are more goals in them yet - all the problems are with Garry Monk now."
Could this be the goal that sends Blackburn through? They take a short corner, Swansea fail to close it down and the cross comes in from Marcus Olsson for Rudy Gestede, who heads the ball down, before bundling in from close range.

"David Dunn had been playing really well, but he doesn't look that disappointed to be coming off, maybe he has just done his job for the small period of time he was on - it is the FA Cup and you need two strikers on. We all know Jordan Rhodes has a goal or two in him."
Now things could get interesting. Nine-goal striker Jordan Rhodes comes on for the closing stages, replacing David Dunn. Swansea also make a change, Bafetimbi Gomis goes off and on comes Benfica loan striker Nelson Oliveira.
Swansea have a glorious chance to hit Blackburn on the counter after the hosts squander possession. Bafetimbi Gomis leads the attack with Jonjo Shelvey in support. The midfielder is in acres of space but Gomis overhits his pass terribly for his team-mate, and the opportunity goes.
Blackburn win a free-kick 25 yards from goal, Craig Conway takes it, sending the ball into the area where Matt Kilgallon rises to flick a header goalwards, but Lukasz Fabianski is there to make the save.
Eljero Elia makes his FA Cup debut in a Southampton side which boasts just one change from victory at Newcastle in the Premier League.
Jack Cork replaces Harrison Reed in midfield, while Crystal Palace welcome back Marouane Chamakh for the first time since 13 December. He replaces Dwight Gayle after recovering from injury and is one of three changes from victory at Burnley. Wayne Hennessey replaces Julian Speroni in goal and Frazier Campbell is in for Dwight Gayle.
Southampton: Forster, Clyne, Fonte, Gardos, Bertrand, Cork, Ward-Prowse, S. Davis, Tadic, Elia, Pelle.
Crystal Palace: Hennessey, Kelly, Delaney, Dann, Ward, Zaha, Ledley, McArthur, Campbell, Chamakh, Sanogo.
Swansea are taking no risks, with all but one outfield player in their own half when Blackburn are in possession. It is inviting pressure but they are coping with it at the moment as Rudy Gestede heads a ball down for Tom Cairney, the shot is not on for the Blackburn man and the attack eventually ends with a poor Marcus Olsson cross.
