I'm fairly sure I heard a stat before that said no team in Premier League history has scored more late goals than Spurs have this season. One for Liverpool to bear in mind.
Philippe Coutinho is beginning to grow into this game. As it becomes ever more stretched, his cute throughballs are becoming increasingly dangerous. He put Daniel Sturridge through earlier and now he slides in Alberto Moreno but the full-back's angled, low shot is saved at his near post by Hugo Lloris.
Jordon Ibe hasn't been as effective in the second half. The minute he picks up the ball, there are three people round him. A compliment to his first-half display.
Steven Gerrard's hurt his hamstring and has to make way. On comes Dejan Lovren. For Spurs, it's Paulinho for Ryan Mason.
Eric Dier is a brave boy. And a lucky one. He dives in on Daniel Sturridge in the penalty box and the striker goes down. Luckily for him, he wins the ball. Anfield didn't think he did though.
The gloves are off now. Both sides have decided they're just going to go for the throat. Nigel Pearson tactics.
Paul Walmsley: Phil Dowd has bottled this game. Missed the penalty, and that 'free kick' was a bad decision. Poor.
Mark Savile: First it wasn't a foul by Gerrard and second it was offside - plus he didn't see the penalty, ref is having a mare
Ash: Phil Dowd has a yellow card glued to his hand.

BBC Sport chief football writer Phil McNulty at Anfield
"Spurs have made a real habit of going the distance this season so it is no surprise to see them respond so robustly to Liverpool taking the lead for the second time. Liverpool are playing well but Mauricio Pochettino has put some real resilience into his team."

On the goal: "The ball comes off his hip, not his hand. It is perfectly good goal and what another great response from Tottenham. But the free-kick came from a foul by Gerrard on Kane that when people see it many will think it should not have been given."
Liverpool's turn to flood forward and Lazar Markovic rather wastes a two-on-two opportunity when he drags the ball wide. Why didn't he take the ball into the box and commit an exposed Danny Rose?
Don't nip to the toilet... you might miss a goal. It's now 2-2, and parity is deserved.
Christian Eriksen's wonderful, curling free-kick is beaten clear at his near post by Simon Mignolet. Harry Kane picks up the rebound and scuffs it back into the six-yard box where Mousa Dembele bundles home.
Replays showed Kane might have been in an offside position when Mignolet parried the free-kick. Tight, but he was just off.
Steven Gerrard flattens Harry Kane with a strong tackle, but one which ends with him winning the ball. Still, Phil Dowd books the skipper. Tottenham with a free-kick 35 yards out.
Michael Louw: Danny Rose is such a weak link. Tottenham have to do something about it because he makes big mistakes far too often.
neal: Mignolet has literally mirrored Dudek's form. Both dropped through making errors and coming back in thanks to others' injuries

Television replays show that referee Phil Dowd wasn't going to give that penalty. Not until his assistant uttered the words "100%".
Harry Kane is everywhere as he tries to effect another Spurs comeback. He starts a move in midfield and ends it in the box, with the ball at his feet and his shot is blocked by Martin Skrtel.

"What a good game of football this is!"
Tim Ferwood: How is that a penalty but Kane was denied one for virtually the same tackle earlier?
Daniel Stack: It's that man Danny Rose again.

Sorry Spurs fans, but how many goals has Danny Rose cost you this season? I make that two in the last two games.
This is turning into a right ding-dong now. The ball breaks to Erik Lamela on the edge of the box and his piledriver is tipped over at full stretch by Simon Mignolet.

"Well done to the linesman for getting involved in the big decisions. I like to see that."
