"Liverpool should be in front they have had several good chances in good positions but the final ball has not quite been good enough.

"Liverpool have to win, it is very attacking team, but Spurs have not been in awe."

He's everywhere! This time Harry Kane pops up at left-back to stop Daniel Sturridge in his tracks. Is he going to make the half-time brews too?

There must be someone out there who went to school with Harry Kane, Jordon Ibe or even Raheem Sterling. Let us know. Kane continues to look threatening as he takes aim from 12 yards but his angled shot is saved by Simon Mignolet.

Where are all these talented young English players coming from? Jordon Ibe has been superb tonight, too - picking up the ball midway into his own half and driving into the centre before firing in a rasper which Hugo Lloris fumbles and palms clear.

It is half-time in the three 19:45 GMT Premier League kick-offs. QPR are leading 2-0 at Sunderland - yes, you are reading that correctly. Arsenal are 2-0 up against Leicester, while Villa are losing 1-0 at Hull and are currently in the bottom three.

Philippe Coutinho has been fairly quiet so far, but he looks dangerous when he picks up the ball in the hole and slides it through for Jordon Ibe who runs at the full-back and puts in a low cross which is cut out. The youngster is very direct and is bringing a new dimension to Liverpool's play down the right.

    Alan Green
    BBC Radio 5 live

"It's lovely to see both teams intent on attacking when in possession of the ball."

Chris S: About time Harry Kane scored, he'd gone 2 whole days without a Premier League goal.

David Simpson: Sign of a striker in form. Even a bad finish hits the back of the net.

The game is quite stretched now - first Jordon Ibe running into the box and then a cul-de-sac, before Harry Kane picks up the ball and drives forward but his attempt to switch play ends in him giving the ball away. It was easily a 22-yard pass he tried. Mark that one down, Louis.

  11. Postpublished at 20:31 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2015

BBC Sport chief football writer Phil McNulty at Anfield

"Harry Kane's confidence was illustrated by an ambitious attempt from the halfway line that did not work. The finish for his goal was much more routine and one he was never going to miss on his current golden run. Not afraid to go looking for work either."

Dominic O'Caollai: Gerrard yet again nowhere! He is being absolutely bypassed by the Spurs midfielders. Horrendous management from Rodgers

Ash: Sakho on the other hand is one of the clumsiest looking defenders I've seen.

Who else? The boy's on fire.

It's a lovely worked goal to bring Spurs level, with Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela linking up on the edge of the box and the latter playing through a cute ball. It's too clever for Mamadou Sakho who gets in a tangle and falls over, allowing Harry Kane time to pick his spot and bury the ball past Simon Mignolet from 12 yards. All square.

While Tottenham try to press Liverpool all over the pitch, the Reds have triggers - times when they will press and times when they will drop off. The Reds' method looks better at the moment. Meanwhile, Harry Kane has a pop from the centre circle but his radar is not working for this one.

Matt Hardy: Spurs shooting themselves in the foot here. Misplaced passes & looking shaky on the ball at the back. Have to outscore Liverpool.

Hashim: This match at Anfield was already very open, and that goal will only serve to raise the tempo. Expect a goal fest!
