Former Northern Ireland midfielder Danny Wilson at Windsor Park: "I was looking at Michael O'Neill at half-time and he was jogging off, and his players were jogging off too. They're not walking off. They're looking bright.

"They're sending out a message to Finland that there's more to come. Northern Ireland's unsung heroes so far have been in midfield. Steven Davis, Chris Baird and Ollie Norwood are so solid in there and they're giving a good platform from which to attack. Northern Ireland started hesitantly, but they got a grip as the game went on, and they thoroughly deserve the lead."

Jardie in London: On the disallowed Northern Ireland goal earlier: To be offside, surely the ball has to go forward - and from my few in a crowded pub with the London Northern Ireland Supporters Club, I don't think it was played forward! Who cares though... come on Super Kyle! Green and White Army! How much does the Eurostar cost?

"Gibraltar scoring was almost the worst thing that could have happened to them, because they got excited, they pushed up the park and started to leave spaces behind them. Now they are starting to look ragged. If they don't sort it out, it could be 'fill your boots' time for Scotland's forwards."

Kyle Lafferty has been bombed out to Turkish side Caykur Rizespor after not being able to make an impression for Norwich. But on his day - and this is very much his day - he looks a brilliant target man. Pace, strength, touch - does he just not cut it in the Championship?

Former Scotland international Billy Dodds on BBC Radio Scotland: "It's good quality from Scotland. Ikechi Anya gets his head up to pick out Naismith and it's a good finish. Easy street for Scotland now."

Former Northern Ireland midfielder Danny Wilson at Windsor Park: "What a fantastic ball from Conor McLaughlin after great work by Jamie Ward. It had shape on it and was drilled in. All Kyle Lafferty had to do was direct it on target, and he did that with aplomb."

Marie, Glasgow: Gibraltar are actually not the first international squad with three brothers from the same family in it. That accolade went to Honduras' 2010 World Cup squad which featured Jerry, Wilson and Johnny Palacios.

Former Northern Ireland midfielder Danny Wilson at Windsor Park: "It's a fantastic ball from the free-kick, which was very well headed out, and Finland were unfortunate that it fell straight to Kyle Lafferty. It was a terrific volley - the keeper had no chance. If you put the ball into the danger areas, Lafferty will get on the end of it for you. He is such a threat."
