Former Northern Ireland midfielder Danny Wilson at Windsor Park: "Finland are taking a few more chances. They've virtually got five players up top now. But that will leave them open, and Northern Ireland counter-attacks are definitely on the cards."

Alistair Wiseman: Any chance Gibraltar can be classed as Spanish for 45 minutes? Scotland being 4-1 up at half-time against Spain has a nice ring to it.

Bob: Can Scotland hold on? The might of Gibraltar are looking for something out of this game!

Jack R Davies: It's so tight in Group D. If Scotland win 10-1, Germany win 7-0 and Rep. of Ireland beat Poland 3-0 all the teams will be identical.

That would be a heck of an accumulator, Jack.

"The queue for a half-time cuppa at Windsor Park. Northern Ireland fans will remember this when living it up at Euro 2016."

Despite the queue, Conor has made it back to his commentary position in time for the start of the second half.

Kyle Lafferty starts the second half as he ended the first, muscling a defender out of the way and firing over the top. Deflection, corner. How's that wind blowing in the second half?

Right through the middle, Jamie Ward puts it back in and Niall McGinn stretches to smash over the top! Big chance for a third.

The big offside debate over that disallowed Northern Ireland goals goes on - perhaps it's as well that they've scored two since.

Dov Owen: To clarify to Jardie in London, the rule of offside does not require the ball to played forward - common misconception.

Simon Edmond: Jardie of London is mistaken - the ball does not have to go forward.

Lots of amateur refs on twitter these days...

It's safe to wager that Kyle Lafferty's career trajectory is one that will never be repeated again in the history of association football.

His goals are doing his nation the world of good though. Can he complete a hat-trick in the second half?

Former Scotland international Willie Miller on BBC Radio Scotland: "Gordon Strachan's obviously watched Gibraltar and he might have been taken by surprise by them going forward but I'm sure he maintained belief that, eventually, we would have too much for them. I don't think he'll be too tempted to change it."

BBC Sport's Alasdair Lamont at Hampden

"The scoreline is already looking very emphatic but it perhaps a disguises a rather lacklustre first-half performance from the Scots, albeit against a dogged Gibraltar side, who only began to buckle towards the end of that period.

"Gibraltar do though have their first competitive goal, which their coach David Wilson admitted yesterday was a landmark he'd love to achieve at Hampden. There are plenty in dark blue who haven't performed to their capabilities in what was for long spells a ponderous display. But it's hard to argue with a three-goal cushion."
