Tottenham are just starting to exert some authority on the game at White Hart Lane. Nacer Chadli is released by Harry Kane but sees his shot blocked, with the resulting Andros Townsend corner coming to nothing. The game remains on simmer.

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:32 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Charlie Adam from a mere 35 yards this time! The Scot lines up a free-kick from wide on the right, everyone expects a cross but he shoots and puts it onto the roof of the net. Lovely strike.

After getting themselves back into the game once, Leicester have it all to do again. They start with a looping cross into the box that is gathered easily by Boaz Myhill, without a single blue short anywhere near him. As David Nugent's goal showed, you tend to need players in the box to score.

  4. Postpublished at 15:29 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Improvised effort from Stoke top scorer Jon Walters as he hits an early dipping strike as the ball bounced away from him 25 yards out. West Ham keeper Adrian was almost caught out but adjusted his feet well to make the save.

    Former Tottenham striker Garth Crooks
    Final Score

"Leicester were trying to make out it went out of play in the build-up to Craig Gardner's goal - nice try. It never went out."

It's the first save either keeper has had to make today. Cristian Eriksen slips the ball through to attacking left-back Danny Rose, who decides not to shoot first time, finds some space and then fires at the legs of Brad Guzan.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

The bookings are piling up at Sunderland and you won't be surprised to learn that Lee Cattermole is in the book - his 11th caution of the season. A blatant shirt pull.

  8. Postpublished at 15:26 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

    Former Tottenham striker Clive Allen
BBC Radio 5 live at White Hart Lane

"Tim Sherwood was bemoaning the number of injuries he had after the QPR game in midweek, and with the FA Cup semi-final against Liverpool coming up, more injuries are the last thing he will want. Already Ciaran Clark has been taken off and for a moment it looked as if Leandro Bacuna was hurt."

Parity does not last long at the Hawthorns as West Brom retake the lead. Chris Brunt's cross is headed down by Brown Ideye and falls to Craig Gardner, who finds the net with a swivelling shot, helped by a deflection from Wes Morgan.

  10. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

    Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown
    Final Score

"Costel Pantililmon has been very brave. Scott Dann has caught him with his knee but there's no intention. He's a big young man Pantililmon, but a brave one."

  11. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam gets the ball on the halfway line and is urged to shoot by the crowd - but he turns down the chance. Booo!

  12. Postpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Suddenly, Leicester look a real threat. Jamie Vardy almost nips in ahead of Boaz Myhill, but the keeper just gets in first to hammer the ball away before David Nugent's dibbly dobbly shot from range goes past the post.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:22 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Chance! Graziano Pelle is in for Southampton, but his effort is well saved by 40-year-old Steve Harper in the Hull goal. Pelle can't buy a goal for the Saints - he can only score against England at the moment.

  14. Postpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Costel Pantililmon has a very red nose after that clash with Scott Dann - Peter Schmeichel style - but he's carrying on.

Leicester hit back, with their first real meaningful effort. A quickly-taken free-kick is launched forward for Leonardo Ulloa to head down and David Nugent to poke home past Boaz Myhill. That is the striker's fifth goal of the season and it could well end up being a big one for City in their fight against the drop.

  16. Postpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

The League One relegation battles are up and running. As the bottom eight all play each other, the first blows have been landed on 10 minutes. Rock-bottom Yeovil have taken the lead against Notts County through a Haydn Hollis own-goal, while Crewe are also ahead at home against Leyton Orient through Lauri Dalla Valle.

  17. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Ciaran Clark is now off the pitch and receiving treatment. He makes one attempt to get back up but looks unsteady on his feet and drops again for another bout of physio work. In the end, Nathan Baker is called for and Villa are forced to make a change.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Jason Puncheon looks the dangerman for Crystal Palace and has a shot saved before Jack Rodwell is fortunate to escape a red card. His touch gets away from him in midfield and he dives in to the tackle, feet off the ground and he clatters James McArthur. The referee has a long look at it and decides it's a yellow card.

Challenges flying in! Sunderland keeper Costel Pantilimon is clattered by Scott Dann after he juggled the ball from the corner and the giant Romanian needs some treatment.

  19. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 11 April 2015

Villa look to hit Spurs on the counter but a long ball forward is too far ahead of Gabriel Agbonlahor and Michel Vorm is quickly off his line to clear. Villa defender Ciaran Clark looks to be holding his knee. It would be a blow to struggling Villa to lose him.
