If Real Madrid's players look fresh deep into tonight's game, it could all come down to a killer siesta this afternoon.

    No, honestly.

Madrid have 81 five-star, fingerprint-accessed bedrooms at the club's training complex with their own 'sleep environment' of temperature, lighting, air quality, duvet-type and mattresses inside the rooms.

At Manchester City they have 32 en-suite bedrooms each decorated with sleep-inducing wallpaper - a light green design with ever decreasing circles.

I'm not making this up. All of us at BBC Sport learned a lot about sleep this week thanks to a fascinating read from Alec Fenn.

Dig in and find out just why you're not sleeping too well.

  2. Goals, goals goals?published at 18:13 British Summer Time 22 April 2015

Fear not, there has never been a knockout tie ending goalless after two legs. Ten have finished 1-0 on aggregate, most recently Tottenham's narrow success against Milan in the 2010-11 round of 16.

  3. Any draw will dopublished at 18:08 British Summer Time 22 April 2015

Drawing the first leg 0-0 at home was long seen as a bad result.

But by not conceding an away goal, Atletico Madrid have put themselves in a decent position.

Obviously, they'd like to be ahead, but now any score draw sends them through. The sides have already drawn on three occasions this season, with Atletico winning the other four.

Can Fernando Torres or Mario Mandzukic be a hero for Atletico again?

And they did it last season to Chelsea. A 0-0 draw in Madrid followed by a stunning 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge.

Who do you make favourites tonight?

Forget Alton Towers, tonight Real Madrid face their real nemesis.

They just can't beat Atletico Madrid. Like an annoyingly hard boss at the end of a platform game, try as they might Real cannot put one over their city rivals.

Seven times this season the sides have met. Zero times have Real come away with a win.

Ding Ding! It's time for round eight...
