Leicester's next match, on Wednesday, is at home to leaders Chelsea. A tough one, but why shouldn't they be confident after four successive wins?

Burnley, I'm afraid, look doomed. Three of their four remaining games are away from home, and they are now five points from safety.

I'm off to write the full report on this game now - that will be up on the site shortly. In the meantime, you can follow all the post-match reaction from Turf Moor on our main live text.

    Thanks for joining me.

Leicester striker Jamie Vardy: "Our confidence has been high all season. We've just not been getting the results. We've got the win today, and we'll have to take that into Wednesday."

There's a fist pump at full-time from Leicester boss Nigel Pearson, and no wonder. Leicester, seven points adrift of safety at the start of April, have won four top-flight games in a row for the first time since 1966, and are out of the bottom three. Incredible.

"It was all going so well for Burnley but they missed that penalty and Leicester went straight down the other end and scored, that's how cruel football can be."

    Alan Green
BBC Match of the Day commentator at Turf Moor

"There'll be no consolation for Matty Taylor tonight, and no consolation for Burnley. Their struggle looks an uphill one. Leicester will surely be safe soon."

Burnley captain Jason Shackell stumbles under pressure from Robert Huth as the ball is played in. But referee Anthony Taylor gives nothing. That may be it.

Burnley keeper Tom Heaton has kept Burnley in the game for a few more moments. Leicester break, and Andrej Kramaric sets up fellow substitute Matt James to finish the game - but Heaton gets down to his right to push the ball away.

Five minutes of added time. Still hope for Burnley. Still work for Leicester.

Leicester are doing most of the defending now, yet look dangerous as they try to nick a second on the break. Goalscorer Jamie Vardy gets away down the left, but his shot from just inside the area is held easily by Tom Heaton.

One final Burnley substitution. Matty Taylor, whose afternoon slipped down the plughole the moment he missed that penalty just before the hour mark, is replaced by Michael Kightly.

Straight away, Danny Ings gets away down the left to cross, but Ross Wallace can only stab his shot into the ground, and it's a comfortable save by Kasper Schmeichel.

Fine margins, fine margins. Burnley full-back Ben Mee whacks a low ball across goal, and Robert Huth almost turns it into his own net. Leicester keeper Kasper Schmeichel reacts instinctively to pat the ball away. The visitors survive.

Last 10 minutes. A few Burnley fans are heading for the exits. Their team haven't scored since 14 March. Where's the inspiration coming from?

Right, this is how things stand in the other matches at the bottom. Leicester are set to climb out of the bottom three, with Sunderland dropping into the relegation zone as they are being held 1-1 at Stoke. QPR, next to bottom, are drawing 0-0 at home to West Ham, having seen a first-half penalty opportunity slip away as Charlie Austin's spot-kick was saved. Hull are 1-0 up at Crystal Palace. Defeat for Burnley would mean they stay bottom.

Early unofficial timings, by the way, suggest there were 59 seconds between Matty Taylor missing a penalty for Burnley and Jamie Vardy giving Leicester the lead. We'll endeavour to go back through the footage with a stopwatch when things have calmed down a bit.

Ross Wallace, Burnley's saviour at the King Power Stadium in October, has a free-kick, 25 yards out. But there's no repeat of his effort earlier in the season, as he hits the ball tamely into the Leicester wall.

Andrew from Richhill: Those are the kind of moments in a Premier League season that decide who stays up and who gets relegated. Burnley miss a penalty to take a crucial lead at one end and then concede straight away at the other. Huge moment.

Ross, a Watford fan: If I was bottom six, I'd be worried about going down to the Championship, such an unpredictable and tight league, I can't see many Premier League teams coming back up with ease!

Times journalist Rory Smith at Turf Moor:, external No more than a minute between Matt Taylor missing a penalty and Jamie Vardy scoring for Leicester. The sort of minute that defines a season.
