Not much in the way of clear chances so far, but Jamie Vardy wrestles himself half-a-yard of space inside the penalty area to hit a shot on the turn that rolls to Burnley keeper Tom Heaton.

It's cagey and it's scrappy, is this. Leicester boss Nigel Pearson's pre-match promise of an open, entertaining game hasn't come to much yet.

Indeed, Alan. Leicester captain Wes Morgan leaves Lukas Jutkiewicz on the deck with a firm challenge. Referee Anthony Taylor gives a free-kick and nothing more.

"Burnley have got problems scoring, but Leicester come here on the back of three wins so the home side are going to have to keep calm and play with confidence.

"It looks like Leicester are playing with three centre-backs and two wing-backs and two up front."

Leicester are having a fair bit of pressure, forcing yet another corner. There's a shout for handball against Burnley striekr Lukas Jutkiewicz, back defending, but referee Anthony Taylor is unimpressed.

Bob Lord, by the way, was the strong-willed chairman of Burnley between 1955 and 1981, overseeing the league-title winning success of 1960. He was such a staunch opponent of televised football, believing it would damage attendances, that he wouldn't allow BBC cameras into Turf Moor for the first five years of Match of the Day's history.

Leicester pressing down the left - and Jamie Vardy's dangerous ball across the six-yard box is pocked behind by Burnley captain Jason Shackell for a corner. Burnley deal with that, and another corner that follows.

Burnley attack down the left, and a low cross into the area is smacked on to the roof of the Bob Lord Stand by Leicester centre-back Robert Huth. The very definition of no-nonsense, there. Very much like Bob Lord himself, in fact.

An early goal for Sunderland at Stoke. Connor Wickham has struck after two minutes. A big goal for Gus Poyet's side, who started the day in 16th place, a point ahead of Leicester and three clear of Burnley.

Danny Ings, seeking his first goal in nine matches, makes an early break in from the left for Burnley, but his shot his blocked by Marcin Wasilewski. That's the kind of lively start Burnley need.

So those are the thoughts of the managers - but what do you think? Do Burnley need to be more expansive? Is Lukas Jutkiewicz the right man to fill in for Sam Vokes today? Has Nigel Pearson gone for the right line-up?

  15. Pre-match thoughtspublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

Leicester manager Nigel Pearson: "It's always about trying to get the best we have available. We picked up one or two knocks, David Nugent and Jeff Schlupp didn't make it today, but it's an opportunity for other players to come in.

"I think it's an important game for both sides. We have a healthy respect for everyone we play. There is a danger in feeling that the hard work's done, and that's far from the case. When you play a side in a similar situation, there's more at stake. Both sides, I'm sure, will try to win the game.

"We know the season doesn't finish here, or after the next game. We want to keep our fate in our own hands. The longer we do that, the more a realistic chance it gives us."

  16. Pre-match thoughtspublished at 14:54 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

Burnley manager Sean Dyche: "Our need for a victory is there regardless of who it's against. We want the players to play to a good tactical framework, but we want to play with freedom.

"We need goals, because we haven't been scoring enough lately. We had a tricky spell earlier in the season and came through, and we need something similar now. We're looking for something for Lukas Jutkiewicz. Sam Vokes has a niggling thigh injury, so it's a chance for Jukes to show what he can do."
