A double change for Burnley. George Boyd and Lukas Jutkiewicz are off, and Marvin Sordell and Ross Wallace are coming on. Now, when Leicester and Burnley met at the King Power Stadium in October, Wallace scored a 96th-minute equaliser for the Clarets in a 2-2 draw. What chance a repeat here?

Meanwhile, Leicester have brought on the more defensively-minded Ritchie De Laet for Marc Albrighton. Nigel Perason has gone to a back five, and I suspect will be very happy with a 1-0 scoreline.

Matty Taylor, who missed that Burnley penalty, has never been relegated from the Premier League in a career that has taken in spells at Portsmouth, Bolton and West Ham. I fear that record may be soon to end.

"Football never ceases to amaze, you see it so often. Burnley were still wondering how they missed the penalty and didn't sort themselves out and Leicester were on the attack. Duff just nicked it but it is Leicester who have gone ahead."

Haaave you met Will?: Burnley. That's your sign that time's up

Ed Reynolds: Two missed penalties by relegation bound teams! If you can't score from 12 yards there's not much hope is there!

Sho: QPR and Burnley have had lady luck smile on them. But both too poor to take advantage.

I've had a look at three or four replays of that goal, and I'm crediting it to Jamie Vardy. Michael Duff's attempted clearance did not cross the line - Tom Heaton had actually kept it out. It's Vardy's fourth of the season, and his third in five games.

And, as it stands, it will take Leicester out of the bottom three.

To quote the late, great Peter Cook: "Football is, is, she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child."

Fresh from their penalty let-off, Leicester head to the other end. Marc Albrighton crosses from the right, Michael Duff tries to intercept, but knees towards his own goal. It's going in - but Tom Heaton claws it out, only for the ball to go in off Jamie Vardy's knee.

  7. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 16:16 British Summer Time 25 April 2015

Matty Taylor, making his first start since August after recovering from heel and Achilles surgery, steps up to take the spot-kick. He sends Schmichel the wrong way - but hits the post! Extraordinary. And then, within seconds...

Right on cue, Burnley step up their game. Danny Ings creates space to fire in a shot that Kasper Schmeichel pushes aside. Then Matty Taylor is tripped by Paul Konchesky. Penalty!

"You've got teams fighting for their lives and you want to see goals. You'd think there might be tentative games today but the Burnley game is quite frantic and there could be chances there."

"In the last six matches Hull haven't won at all so it would be a real plus for them if they can get through that one. There's still quite a bit to go, plenty of fresh air between now and the end of the season, so no one should panic just yet.

"For the team's that come up it's always the hardest for them to stop up and that seems to be the case again this season."

A big goal at Selhurst Park. Dame N'Doye has given Hull the lead as they battle to stay clear of the bottom three. Elsewhere, it's still 1-1 between Stoke and Sunderland, and goalless between QPR and West Ham. Both Leicester and Burnley need a winner here.

    Seconded, Alan. Seconded.

Burnley's chief threat today is coming from corners. Michael Duff gets a header to Kieran Trippier's delivery, and Leonardo Ulloa, back defending for Leicester, does well to divert it away.

Early Leicester pressure in the second half. Robert Huth, in an attacking capacity, goes down rather easily under George Boyd's challenge just outside the penalty area. Esteban Cambiasso's free-kick drifts over the bar, and into the Cricket Field Stand. "Somewhat lazily struck," opines Alan Green, commentating for tonight's Match of the Day.
