It's the Ashley Young and Robin van Persie show at Old Trafford. The duo have been the most influential players on display in the opening 20 minuets and Van Persie shoots wide from Young's cutback.

It's a shame to report that Van Persie's all-black boots - well done Robin - now look very odd in the multi-coloured plastic age we live in.

  4. 'We did not play to our level'published at 17:48 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

    Southampton

Southampton boss Ronald Koeman, whose side lost 2-1 to Sunderland after conceding two penalties and having James Ward-Prowse sent off: "I don't know if the penalties are good decisions by the referee. I will have to watch the clips.

"The thing that has frustrated me the most is the performance of my own team because we did not play at our level.

"I don't know why. We don't usually lose those kind of balls. The 10 minutes after half-time were our worst of the season so far.

"We only showed our level with one less player on the pitch. We played much better football and were the better team when it was 10 men against 11. That is so strange it is unbelievable."

    Stoke City

"I don't think there was any issue with desire, but we just didn't have enough quality in key areas to take the game away from Swansea. We know where we need to improve.

"I thought Marc Wilson was a little unlucky on the first booking. It probably looked worse than it was. The second one was a silly challenge really."

    Swansea City

Swansea manager Garry Monk: "I'm very pleased. We controlled the whole game. I think we were playing at 70% in the first half. Our tempo was slow. I had words with the players at half-time, and in the second half, we were excellent. The goals we got were thoroughly deserved, and we're on our way to consolidating our top-10 place.

"The feeling can be that you get safe and that's the job done. It's about getting the players to want more than that. They key is pushing and demanding higher standards, and the players do that for themselves as well.

"I'll have to reassess our target for the remainder of the season. I keep setting a new one every week. In the games left, it's about focusing again. I don't want the players to fall below the standards they've set."
