That double change for United could leave them even more open to the counter but you can't fault Louis Van Gaal for effort. These are the games Angel Di Maria was expected to boss.

That double change for United could leave them even more open to the counter but you can't fault Louis Van Gaal for effort. These are the games Angel Di Maria was expected to boss.
Kurt Zouma has stuck to Marouane Fellaini all afternoon to cut him out of the game. Now a double change from the visitors.
Angel Di Maria replaces Ashley Young and Juan Mata is also off. Mata gets a huge reception from the home fans. On comes Adnan Januzaj.
Jon: This is like United playing a bottom three side at Old Trafford, who come for a draw a nick a goal with one of their two attacks.
Christian Mescall: Mourinho brings on Ramires, think he's happy with a 1-0
Craig M Evans: Typical Mourinho looking to park the bus? Oscar off Ramires on!
Manchester United doing all of the attacking. Radamel Falcao has rarely been involved today but hits a swerving strike wide from 25 yards. Chelsea bring off Oscar and replace him with fellow Brazilian Ramires. Pace. Energy.
It's all square at Wembley with 15 minutes of normal time remaining. Will there be a winner?

Good play again from Luke Shaw - having a fine second half - as his cross is laid back to Wayne Rooney on the edge of the box. It's there to be hit - but it's deflected wide.
Paddy McNair is allowed to advance from the back and he hits a swerving strike from 25 yards which almost catches Thibaut Courtois out, he can only push the ball back out and it's bundled over the top from close range. Time for United to crank the pressure up?
BBC Sport chief football writer Phil McNulty at Stamford Bridge
"An hour gone and still nicely poised. Chelsea have the lead and for all Manchester United's problems they just cannot fashion that breakthrough. Louis van Gaal has options on the bench in Angel Di Maria and Robin van Persie - he will soon be thinking about using them."
An hour gone, and the average positions of both sides tell you who's been pushing on all game. Manchester United have often left Paddy McNair (33) and Chris Smalling (12) at the back and pushed everyone else up.
Eden Hazard (10) is Chelsea's chief outlet.
Peter Malath: Playing Falcao ahead of Di Maria is like buying a Ferrari and driving a Ford Pinto instead. £60m player on the bench.
KN: Lucky escape. Really miss Carrick's passing. #CFC happy to let Smalling and McNair have the ball.
Atif siddiqui: Chelsea don't deserve to win the league all they do is park the bus.
Shohidur Rahman: I can't see how we're gonna score. With Falcao up front we're pretty much playing with 10 men.
Shane O'Neill: 70% possession and easily the better team, United undone again by Mike Dean. Happens way too often to be a coincidence

A second Chelsea goal on the counter attack looks the most likely route to more action as United commit more and more men forward. Excellent run forwards from Luke Shaw sees Branislav Ivanovic booked for a trip on him. Can the visitors profit from this free-kick out wide?
No.
Almost two! Chelsea hit United on the break, Didier Drogba hasn't got the legs to burn past last man Chris Smalling any more, but he is strong enough to hold him off and get a shot away. Drogba's shot deflects over the head of David De Gea, Eden Hazard sprints in to get there and hooks the loose ball against the crossbar from a tight angle!
Manchester United's last league defeat came at the hands of Swansea in February. Unless they find a breakthrough in the remaining 40 minutes it'll be a sixth loss of the season.
Manchester United continue to boss the ball as Chelsea coax them on to them. Can you score? That's the question Chelsea are asking, all the while waiting to use Eden Hazard on the counter.
Reading have levelled it up!

Under way at the Bridge.
Here we go, the teams come back out. Can United hurt this strong-looking Chelsea side?
I count 11 groundsmen on the pitch at half-time keeping the Stamford Bridge pitch in good nick. That's how you keep a pitch fit for big games.

Chelsea
If Chelsea hold on to win today then the earliest they can win the Premier League is Wednesday 29 April.
Win today, beat Arsenal away next weekend and then they can wrap it up at Leicester in 11 days' time.
Ifs, buts, ifs, maybes....
