"I think it was a bad tackle - he followed through with his studs into Ramsey's ankle. I think Ramsey's struggling now."

Some worried faces in the away end as Aaron Ramsey goes down after a crunching challenge by Tom Huddlestone and immediately grabs his knee, wincing in pain.

He's eventually able to hobble off the pitch, before slowly jogging it off. He's good to carry on.

"He should have scored - it was a sitter really. He was four yards out but he just headed the ball back towards from where it came from."

This game has opened up now and Hull are carving out a few opportunities. Robbie Brady swings in a cross and Sone Aluko rises to meet the ball, he mis-judges his jump, though, and fails to connect properly. Arsenal immediately break on the counter through Alexis Sanchez, but Hull stop the charge. The Tigers are going to have to watch that counter, though.

Ambitious. Dame N'Doye wants his Charlie Adam moment as he spots Arsenal keeper David Ospina off his line and has a crack from just inside the Arsenal half. He's not Charlie Adam though and the ball sails well wide.

"It was a brilliant counter-attack from Arsenal. Coquelin won the ball on the edge of his own box and Mesut Ozil took the ball on. They just didn't have the quality at the end and it was a good tackle from Tom Huddlestone."

...Robbie Brady curls the free-kick in, it is cleared to Jake Livermore on the edge of the Arsenal area but he can't get his shot away and Arsenal escape on the counter through Mesut Ozil. The ball eventually falls to Francis Coquelin, who is one of several Arsenal players to have joined the attack, but Hull get back to close him down inside the area and the chance is gone.

Pure domination from Arsenal in these opening stages but no goals as yet. Hull have a chance, though, now with a free-kick on the left side of the Gunners' area. Good chance this...

"When Alexis Sanchez comes in off the left, he's so difficult to mark. He's kept going all season and has got real mental strength. He's been impressive all season. When I look at players like Sanchez and Costa, they are like street footballers - they keep going."

That's better! Finally a moment of excitement in an otherwise dull opening as Alexis Sanchez skips along the edge of the area, avoiding the desperate lunges of a couple of Hull players before smashing a first-time drive from the edge of the area that Steve Harper punches away.

Arsenal have had 83% of the possession in a very one-sided opening to this game and the Hull fans are starting to get a little restless. Steve Harper has not been troubled in the Hull goal, but it is the Gunners who look most likely to get the first goal.

Hull were quick to harry and pester Liverpool last-time out, a tactic that clearly unsettled Brendan Rodgers's side and paved the way for the Tigers to secure a surprise win.

They are not pressing quite as aggressively this time, although Francis Coquelin takes a whack from a stray elbow as Hull try to create their first chance of the game. The Arsenal man is good to continue though.

"Hull will let Arsenal have possession, will drop back to the halfway line knowing they have two strikers up front who have pace to hurt Arsenal on the counter-attack."

Hull have barely touched the ball as Arsenal continue to exchange passes in midfield, patiently probing for an opening. No clear-cut chances as yet, though.

"I think this is a different Arsenal to the one we've seen for the last eight years. This last three months, Arsenal look like a team who are much closer to winning the title - especially after winning at the Etihad against Manchester City."
