    Former Scotland international Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at the Juventus Stadium

"I don't know if there is a better back three hanging around in world football than Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Barazagli and Giorgio Chiellini. Bonucci and Chiellini know each other so well as a two and Barzagli just slots in brilliantly in to make a three. Real have got their work cut out."

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:19 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Dani Carvajal - lucky not to be carded in the penalty incident - is now booked for Real Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo's goal in the first half by the way was his ninth in Champions League semi-finals. Even Lionel Messi would have to be impressed by that stat.

  3. Postpublished at 21:18 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Toni Kroos whistles a strike just over the top for Real as Juve sit back and counter. I couldn't be doing with this mindset, I'd be a bag of nerves. Juve - and Italy - know what they're doing though.

  4. Postpublished at 21:14 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Carlos Tevez has now scored more Champions League goals this season (seven) than in his five other campaigns combined (six). He's often been a bit-part player throughout his career, for club and country, but build a team around him and this is what you get.

  5. Postpublished at 21:13 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

    Former Scotland international Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at the Juventus Stadium

"Juventus have now switched to a 5-3-2, really steady. The home side are going to try to see this out, but they are going to play on the break as well, with the two wing-backs getting forward. It's brilliantly poised now, this game."

  6. Postpublished at 21:12 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Into the last 20 minutes of a cracking semi-final first leg. Real may not be too unhappy with this scoreline.

  7. Postpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Former Manchester United defender Phil Neville
    BBC Radio 5 live

"For Juventus to go to the Bernabeu with just a 2-1 lead, I think they need a better cushion. It's too early for them to sit back on this but it is in Juve's mentality."

  8. Postpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Much better from Gareth Bale. He's been more involved in the three minutes since Javier Hernandez went up front than in the hour beforehand. He chops back onto his left foot and stands up a cross which Cristiano Ronaldo is close to meeting.

Giorgio Chiellini goes down with blood spilling from his eye. Luis Suarez not to blame this time...

Juventus are going to a back three. Andrea Barzagli is on and young midfielder Stefano Sturaro is off. Juve happy with two?

Robin Gelder: Vidal should be ashamed! It should be a yellow for Carvajal but don't ask for it! Showing red cards would stop this behaviour.

Michael: If that wasn't denying a clear goal scoring opportunity I don't know what is. Should have been red for Carvajal too. Unlucky Juve.

Robbie: Don't normally compliment refs, but that was good refereeing. Hate players waving their hand to suggest a card.

  11. CLOSE!published at 21:07 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Superb impact from Javier Hernandez. He brings the ball down and finds Gareth Bale with a diagonal pass, Bale heads it on, Hernandez gets a touch and Cristiano Ronaldo is so close to turning it in!

Hernandez's arrival should see Bale get into the game more.

Arturo Vidal goes to ground in the penalty area but Martin Atkinson isn't giving another penalty.

Real make a change, Isco is off and Javier Hernandez is on. Can he sniff out another key goal?

  13. Postpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

    Former Scotland international Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at the Juventus Stadium

"Juventus are 2-1 up and pushing for another. They are completely on top now. They've got a defender warming up on the sidelines but can they really think about sitting back now? This is a really tough call for Massimiliano Allegri. And he must have had second thoughts because Andrea Barzagli has put his green top back on."

Quality from Patrice Evra, has the wheels to go round the outside and almost gets a second penalty in a few minutes from Dani Carvajal, who just about gets his feet out of the way in time. Evra slams a cross across and Pepe does well to clear.

  15. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Just to clear up who was booked in that penalty incident - Arturo Vidal was booked for dissent, for asking for a red card, while Marcelo was booked for taking out Alvaro Morata just off the ball.

Dani Carvajal - who gave away the penalty - escaped card free...

  16. Postpublished at 21:02 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

    Former Scotland international Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live at the Juventus Stadium

"Are Juventus going to sit on this now? We know they are capable of doing it, but we have got a game on here again! I loved the run-up from Carlos Tevez - it was like a high jumper.

"Martin Atkinson got everything about the penalty right. There wasn't a great deal of contact, but the referee got the decision spot on."

  17. GOALpublished at 21:00 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Nerves? Nope. Carlos Tevez steps up to slam the spot-kick down the middle. Iker Casillas dives out of the way and Juve are back in front.

  18. PENALTY to JUVENTUSpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Stunning counter-attack! Marcelo has a shot for Real as they have a corner cleared, it breaks to Carlos Tevez 40 yards from his goal and just floors it. Stunning pace right through the middle, he goes round Dani Carvajal - who brings him down!

Juve want a red card too - but it's yellow.

  19. Text us on 81111published at 20:58 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

Joseph Murphy: Real are doing well considering they are virtually playing with 10 men. Bale has been totally anonymous.

Tim, Penryn: Think Real will take the draw back to Spain and then beat them in second leg. Juventus will shut up shop second half with the hope of nicking it one nil at the Bernabeu.

Adam, London: Robbie Fowler could not be more wrong (see 20:43). Name a better left-back in the world except David Alaba.

  20. Postpublished at 20:57 British Summer Time 5 May 2015

The game is much steadier in pace in the second half, Juve trying a patient controlling approach after the heavy metal first 15 minutes of the first half. The crowd are noticeably dulled though.
