Allan McDevitt: There is absolutely zero logic in setting up a defence like that vs Barcelona. Pep has destroyed that 2013-winning side

Will Jackson: Pep may know how to set up to attack, but he is clueless on how to set up when defending. Beckenbauer to be defensive coach?

Elliot Riddle: Bayern Munich need to do a Swindon Town to come back from this!

Brilliant from Luis Suarez, lifting the ball over his and a defender's head with some sort of amateur gymnastics, tremendous. Showtime in the Allianz. Bayern not shutting up shop yet, we could have a hatful more at either end at this rate.

Three touches for Neymar inside Bayern Munich's penalty area and two goals. Clinical stuff.

Matt Palmer: Bayern just handed that to Neymar on a plate

Jamie Millar: Guardiola being found out. Playing 3 at the back against the front 3 of Barca!? Suicidal tactics.

Jas Grewal: Well you can group Bayern into the poor naive defending teams in Europe along with the English clubs.

All credit to Bayern fans, they're still jumping up and down and making a right old go of it. Amazing what a diet of good beer, sausages, cheap tickets, a dominant team on the domestic front, Pep Guardiola in the dugout and a cracking city to live in can do for morale.

Pep Guardiola is out on the sidelines but I'm not sure what he can say.

'Come on lads, we only need five more!'

Neymar celebrates his goalImage source, Getty Images

It's another goal right out of the console game textbook! Bayern Munich again go missing on the break, it's two-on-two and Luis Suarez is very unselfish, picking out Neymar at the back post, the Brazilian having time to chest it down and then lash home into the near corner. Emphatic.

They lead Bayern Munich - dominant in Germany - five one on aggregate, with two away goals. Are people still saying Barcelona are boring?

  8. CLOSE!published at 20:14 British Summer Time 12 May 2015

When did Lionel Messi get a big sleeve of tattoos? Not the most pressing issue of the night, but still. Messi has his first shot of the night after more good interplay between himself and Luis Suarez, but he can only stab a shot at Manuel Neuer.

At the other end former Barca man Thiago weaves through brilliantly but Thomas Muller's effort is tame.

Robert Lewandowski rifles in a toe-poke after more good work from Thomas Muller but it's right at Marc-Andre ter Stegen in the Barca goal.

Barcelona may have spent most of the opening stages in their own half, as shown by their heat map above, but they only need a few seconds to have an effect further forward as shown by Neymar's equaliser.

It's only a year since many of us were doubting Neymar's place in this Barca team. But he had a brilliant World Cup on home soil and has now scored more than 30 goals for Barca this season.

Neymar, Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi have scored 113 goals between the three of them. The latest has acted like a tranquiliser on the Allianz Arena.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:05 British Summer Time 12 May 2015

That goal has put a dampener on the atmosphere, but the Bayern fans are still roaring their team on. If you can't enjoy watching your team, you can at least marvel at Barca's front three. But Bayern won't lie down, Thomas Muller meeting Philipp Lahm's cross with a flicked header that forces Marc-Andre ter Stegen into a decent save.

Paul gibbons: That's what you get for playing 3 against 3 at the back, Pep a genius? Give me a break.

Madan Roka: The front 3 in perfect harmony. If Messi touches, then there is something coming.

Mufc Believer: Game over, really. Bayern now need to score 5.

It was a gamble [11 mins] that backfired for Bayern Munich. That away goal for Barcelona now means that Bayern need to score five on the night.

    A big, big ask...

Play with fire, and you'll get burnt. Bayern Munich's soft underbelly is ruthlessly exposed again as Lionel Messi slides a ball between the gaps in their defence, Luis Suarez in onside and squares it for Neymar as Manuel Neuer comes out. A tap-in you've all scored on Fifa many, many times...

Bayern Munich are making this such a great game to watch! They leave it light at the back again, Luis Suarez is one-on-one with Xabi Alonso but picks a poor pass, and then Bayern flood upfield. Thomas Muller and Robert Lewandowski almost cut Barca right down the middle but the men in yellow recover well.

Bayern going all out to gamble here and get another one.

Momentum is a funny thing in sport. Barcelona still hold all of the cards but that early Bayern goal can't help but give them belief. The atmosphere is tangible.

Shohidur Rahman: Bayern needed an early goal and they've got one. 83 mins to get 2 goals. Game on.

Alex Haworth: Bayern are going to win this match 4-0 tonight.

Kenneth Gyang: Astonishing support from Bayern fans. Inspiring.
