"It's all about Coutinho. If anyone makes a run beyond he will find them. Good shot by Henderson good stop. Coutinho is on the losing side right now, I tell you what, he's the man of the match."

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:06 British Summer Time 28 April 2015

Much better from the visitors. Philippe Coutinho dinks a lovely ball towards Jordan Henderson, who controls on his chest, before volleying towards goal. Steve Harper does well to save down low to his left.

This could be a nervy last 28 minutes.

Great news for Rotherham - who now seem certain to be staying up after Lee Frecklington slots home at the far post.

Grim, though, for Wigan and Millwall, who look to be heading down to League One.

Better pressure from Liverpool as Martin Skrtel forces another corner... Philippe Coutinho's delivery is poor though and Hull clear at the near post.

It has been a frustrating evening for Jordon Ibe on the right. The youngster, like many of his team mates, has just not been able to get into the game.

"These are big moments for Liverpool. As for Balotelli, go on, do something special, you're a big player an Italian centre forward. If I was Rickie Lambert I'd be frustrated because you know he would give everything for that moment."

Jordan Henderson fizzes in a cross from deep towards Raheem Sterling and Michael Dawson heads wide for a corner. The delivery is sent into the penalty area by Henderson again but it is easy for goalkeeper Steve Harper.

Alex Rich: All of tonight has been wrong, lack of venom, pace or a finish, much like LFC's whole season really, we NEED Sturridge.

Sam: You have to remember that for a good three years before Rodgers' appointment, we never even came close to the Champions League.

Eyobel gomini: Brendan Rodgers We want You to say! (Manutd fan)

You get the feeling there is more drama to come at the KC Stadium. Hull have been fairly comfortable so far but, with more than 30 minutes to go, you get the feeling the best is still to come from the visitors.

"Just watching Sterling closely tonight. Eden Hazard at the start of last season developed this habit in his game, beat a man and then stopped. Sterling has started to do that a bit. He didn't used to. It's as if you get into habit. It's up to Brendan to say 'stop doing that. Get the ball, go, move. You're good enough.'"

Matt Derbyshire has scored for Rotherham - a potentially huge goal. A close-range finish - and one that could see the Millers stay up and relegate both Millwall and Wigan.

Former Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore on BBC Radio Sheffield: "What a start to the second half - just what Rotherham needed."

A blow to Colchester's survival hopes in League One as Ben Gladwin heads home an equaliser for Swindon. If it stays as it is, Colchester will remain in the relegation zone with one match left.

The Tigers are on track for two wins in 20.

Pause in the action as Dame N'Doye and Dejan Lovren go down after an aerial collision. Both look as though they will okay.

  14. Postpublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 28 April 2015

Former Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore on BBC Radio Sheffield and 5 live sports extra: "This is a massive 45 minutes of football - and Rotherham need to bring their two strikers into the game because they have been starved of service."

Liverpool probe on the edge of Hull's penalty area. Philippe Coutinho, Raheem Sterling and Glen Johnson combine but there is no end product and Hull comfortably clear.

Fairly toothless stuff from the Reds so far. Talking the obvious but they don't half miss Daniel Sturridge.

No, Liverpool clear and the danger is over.

SprightlyCFC: Some pundits say 'Jose is successful because he has money to spend'. IF that narrative is true, why has Rodgers been stuttering?

Jonathan Egan: Even the most optimistic of Liverpool fans know there's no chance we'll come back and win. Dreading next season.

John Godsil: The Liverpool team picked for this game look like a mid table side & they are certainly playing like a mid table side!!!!
