Ladies and gentlemen, England boss Roy Hodgson is in the house. Two matches in one day for Hodgson, who I suspect jumped in a cab to dash across London. Don't go on the Tube Roy, you never know who you might end up talking to...
Here's a rarity - Sergio Aguero misses a gaping goal. But it was far from a blooping miss by the Premier League's top scorer. The Manchester City striker manages to round Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris after a neat one-two with Fernandinho, but slices wide from a tight angle while struggling to keep balance.
David Pleat at White Hart Lane
Former Tottenham manager on BBC Radio 5 live:
"City are beginning to look more comfortable in possession, they are keeping the ball and making Tottenham do all the work and the running."
A sight of goal for Harry Kane, who pounces on a mistake from City defender Martin Demichelis. Kane keeps his composure as he looks to slot past Joe Hart, but the City keeper stands up well to block not once, but twice. Excellent goalkeeping.
Chris Goodall: Milner breaking a corner flag. Probably the most rebellious thing he has done in his life.

Time for a Spurs change - and it is an attacking one. On comes Spanish striker Roberto Soldado with Christian Eriksen the man to be withdrawn.
City midfielder James Milner has enjoyed a real tussle with Spurs left-back Danny Rose - and the two Yorkshireman, who both started their careers at Leeds United, battle again near the corner flag.
Rose comes away with the ball as Milner catches the flag with his hand. In fact, he has broken it! James 'Karate Kid' Milner....
City left-back Aleksandar Kolarov needs no invitation to deliver from a wide area - and that's exactly what he does again. However, it is a little strong for the men waiting in the box and Spurs clear.
The Spurs defence deal with the City corner slung into the box, before charging forward on an attack of their own. But Christian Eriksen tries to be a little too cute about 20 yards out and is caught in possession by a City opponent. Deliver! Cue groans from the home stands.
Space for City down the left as full-back Aleksandar Kolarov stretches his legs. He has a few light blue shirts to aim for in the box, but his cross is blocked bravely by Spurs midfielder Ryan Mason. Corner to City....
Now it is City's turn to dominate possession as the away side are backed by their vocal travelling support. But they cannot find a path through the Spurs defence as Frank Lampard returns the ball to a white shirt on the edge of the home box.
Quite a low key start in comparison to the first. Think we had about four chances by this time an hour ago...
Spurs settle nicely into their rhythm, lacking the ferocious tempo that they began the first half though. Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala clatters into Christian Eriksen as the pair battle for a high ball. Ouch. Eriksen appears to be fine, despite being hit by a man with the physique of a WWE wrestler.
Tottenham's turn to kick off proceedings. They need at least two goals if they are going to keep their fading hopes of Champions League qualification alive. No changes for either side. As you were.
Sticking with the Argentine theme, but going back to the present day, the camera pans on to Sergio Aguero as the players re-emerge from their well-earned break.
Former Spurs midfielder Ossie Ardiles:, external "Not in The Lane today. Left my substitute, Ricky Villa to deputise for me. Supporters of Manchester City tell me all the time that they cannot forgive me for 1981. I told them, pointing to Ricky. It's not me. Him!"
You can't go through a Tottenham v Manchester City match and not mention Ricky Villa. The Argentine scored one of THE great Wembley goals slaloming through the City defence to win the 1981 FA Cup for Spurs. And the bearded genius is down on the touchline now, being interviewed during the break.
Sam, Manchester: Ferran Sorriano is at the game today and I hope he sees that this city team is crying out for youth and pace!
MYK, London: City's defence is the reason why Chelsea won the title. A better team would have scored five already against City.
