Tottenham fans may be scratching their heads as they queue for their half-time balti pie, wondering how their team are behind. The answer? Sergio Aguero's finishing. The little Argentine is battling Spurs top scorer Harry Kane for the Premier League golden boot and he goes two clear of the England international, with his 22nd top-flight strike this season. And that has proved the difference.

Those fans sat in the two stands running along the touchlines will be getting neckache. They are like tennis fans watching the ball fly from side to side. Next to smell a chance is Spurs striker Harry Kane, who escapes the clutches of Kolarov but cannot beat Joe Hart.

Back to the other end.... and Sergio Aguero wriggles into space. The City striker's thumping effort stings the palms of home keeper Hugo Lloris who gathers at the second attempt.

Tottenham aren't patient for long though. Full-back Eric Dier scampers up the right touchline, but his cross whacks City defender and goes safely back into the hands of Joe Hart.

There has been little opportunity for either side to catch breath - until now. Spurs have possession around the halfway line, deciding to be a little more patient in their approach.

City up the tempo once again, another chance falling to Frank Lampard. The former England midfielder heads over the bar following James Milner's cross.

This game really is easy on the eye. It is like a basketball game at the moment - you attack, we attack. Next up on the offensive are Manchester City, with Fernadinho's low drive needing a back-pedalling Danny Rose to hack away from his goal-line. That was trundling in to the bottom corner.

I make that about eight seconds and five City touches from Spurs having a corner to picking the ball out of their net. But Spurs come roaring back, Fazio's header going wide from another corner.

That's how you turn attack into defence! Joe Hart gathers following a Spurs corner and launches the ball forward quickly to David Silva. The Spaniard spots the run of Sergio Aguero who then fires in an unstoppable angled drive into the top corner. Spurs don't know what has just hit them.
