During the week, Manchester United reported a loss for the first three months of the year, hit by a decline in broadcasting and matchday revenue.
They lost £2.9m between January and March. That compares with an £11m profit in the same period last year.
The loss will put added pressure on the club's debt burden, which increased 12.4% in the quarter to £395.4m.
The Manchester United U21 side are on the pitch collecting their trophy having been crowned as champions in their age group. They beat rivals Manchester City 4-0 at Old Trafford on Tuesday, and won the title after Chelsea lost to West Ham on Friday.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal: "I hope to put pressure on Arsenal. We shall fight for third place.
"Robin van Persie has been ill and Radamel Falcao has played the last 45 minutes against Crystal Palace and did well so I don't have any issue to put him in the line-up.
"I have said more or less to him that he can show his class again. I have a lot of confidence in him and he showed in the last week that he is improving. I hope for him, he deserves it.
"I have watched and observed Chris Smalling. I shall name a captain as a human being, not only a player who passes from A to B but how you deal with your players. I believe he has been a leader of our defence."
Injured Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick is on Sky Sports and describes manager Louis van Gaal as being "terrific" for him and someone who has "given him a lot of responsibility".
How much will they miss the Englishman today? He has been ruled out of the last two matches with a calf injury.
Is Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger to pack it in and head for the retirement home? Not quite yet.
"Sometimes I think, 'What is he (Sir Alex Ferguson) doing all day' you know, but he looks very happy in his retirement," said the Frenchman.
"He is lucky because he is interested in horses as well. When he gets up in the morning, he can go to horses, practise or training.
"I love horses as well, but I don't go to races. I like horses in general because I am a farmer, you know."

"Radamel Falcao gets a rare start for United. He has struggled to make any impression at Old Trafford so he will be aiming to take this chance to perhaps give manager Louis van Gaal something to think about as he formulates his summer transfer plans.

Having stalled on signing a new contract since negotiations were opened earlier this season, manager Louis van Gaal is already making contingency plans.
"We have a list of goalkeepers who can replace him because we have to be organised always," the Dutchman said.
"We want him to stay and I hope he shall sign. He has to sign, he has to want to stay here at Manchester United. I don't know [why he hasn't decided]."

"The final home game of Louis van Gaal's first season as Manchester United manager - and despite no trophies it can be deemed a qualified success after guiding them through a period of transition back into the Champions League.
"Arsenal knocked United out of the FA Cup here at Old Trafford and another win today will be regarded as a further statement of progress by manager Arsene Wenger as they fight it out to finish third behind champions Chelsea and Manchester City.
"No such thing as a dead rubber between these two, though, so expectations remain high."
