So just to clear up the state of play - away goals are NOT part of the equation tonight, or indeed in any of the Football League play-off semi-finals. If the scores are level after 90 minutes in either game, we'll see 30 minutes of extra-time followed - if necessary - by a penalty shoot-out.

While someone is dispatched to find a generic throat lozenge for the manager, you have to say that John Sheridan's decision to keep faith with Reuben Reid and Lewis Alessandra in attack is not proving a good one on the evidence of the first half. That said, they have been starved of possession and service.

It's time for a break at Adams Park and Plymouth are going to have to stage an even more impressive comeback than what they produced in the first leg if they are to get to Wembley. Wycombe are in almost complete control. We hear Argyle manager John Sheridan may have lost his voice...

You probably won't be overly surprised - judging by this photograph - to learn that Plymouth's Anthony O'Connor was booked a few minutes ago for this challenge on Wycombe's Sam Wood.

Big chance for Southend striker Barry Corr goes begging. He fools his defender with a lovely dummy and dinks the ball over Chris Day but also the wrong side of the post from 12 yards.

After that Alfie Mawson goal, Wycombe fans have begun goading those from Devon by waving around their phones in the air with the lights ablaze, mimicking the spectacle laid on at Home Park after the Pilgrims' late fightback last week. Looks pretty spectacular in this packed-in ground.

Stevenage will have to make a change before the break. Chris Whelpdale looks like he might have picked up a groin problem and is replaced by Tom Pett.

Plymouth have finally been stung into action, forcing three corners - their first of the match - in quick succession, but they are unable to really trouble stand-in keeper Alex Lynch. They desperately need a goal before the break.

Wycombe score from a set-piece yet again as a near-post corner from Joe Jacobson is headed in powerfully by Alfie Mawson with Luke McCormick - who had made a superb one-handed save from Sam Saunders to concede the corner - again rather flapping at the inswinging ball.
