    Next up for Brazil?

A trip to Chile's capital Santiago to face Colombia on Wednesday, a repeat of last year's stormy World Cup quarter-final.

Brazil won that game 2-1 but it came at a cost as Neymar was ruled out for the rest of the tournament with a fractured vertebra in his spine when kneed in the back by Juan Zuniga in a challenge that went unpunished.

But Neymar got his revenge when the teams met in a friendly last September, the Barcelona player scoring the only goal of the game.

They were far from their best but that's 11 wins out of 11 now for Brazil since last summer's World Cup. More importantly their Copa America campaign is off to a successful start.

It is hard not to feel sorry for Peru's players. They've run themselves into the ground. We're into the last few seconds.

    Astonishing!

Brilliant pass by Neymar to pick out substitute Douglas Costa who produces a composed low finish from an angle to hit what is surely the winner.

    Heartbreak for Peru.

    So close by Neymar!

Peru's defence, solid throughout, drop their guard and allow Brazil's star player too much space on the edge of the area.

He spots the keeper off his line but there is too much curl on his shot and the ball fizzes just wide.

There was last minute drama as Paraguay secured a point against Argentina on Saturday. Time for one last twist in Temuco?

Five minutes left. A promising Brazil attack is curtailed by an offside flag. Time for a third and final change. Willian, who has been far from his best, is replaced by fellow midfielder Everton Ribeiro.

Double change for Peru. Are they shutting up shop hoping for a point? Not a chance. They replace midfielder Christian Cueva and forward Jefferson Farfan with strikers Yordy Reyna and Andre Carrillo. Bold step or a bad change?

Free-kick to Peru. Jefferson Farfan takes an eternity lining it up before slamming the ball into the wall. Suddenly Brazil are on the counter through Neymar. He tees up substitute Douglas Costa but his finish falls narrowly wide of the target.

No doubt who the locals are supporting. Ole, ole sing the crowd as the men in red put together a string of passes. Peru are close to a terrific result.

Twenty minutes remaining. At last a sense of urgency from Brazil. A flowing move ends with Willian's low goal-bound volley from inside the area hitting a red shirt and bouncing to safety.

Martol: Most of Peru's players are domestically based. I have always likened the standard there to the Championship.

Diego Tardelli's not really impressed and he is replaced by midfielder Douglas Costa. It's Diego Costa Brazil could do with right now.

Another Brazil attack. Another dead end as they run into a big red defensive wall. Brazil change coming up.
