Dunga's Brazil have won their last 10 matches since their World Cup campaign ended in tears.
They have conceded just two goals in those games and beaten Argentina, Chile, Colombia and France. Although all friendlies, the results have gone some way to erasing the traumatic memory of their 7-1 humiliation by Germany at last year's World Cup.
But their fans will expect nothing but a convincing win against Peru.

Peru fans have had little to cheer about in recent years. Their country has not reached the World Cup since 1982 and haven't won Copa America since 1975. In addition they have to go back 30 years to the last time their team beat Brazil and their last victory in this tournament over them was a decade before that.
But Peru captain Carlos Lobaton says history will count for nothing tonight.
"Records exist to be broken," he said. "We are all anxious and looking forward to coming up against them."
Oscar has been ruled out of Copa America due to a thigh injury, external but Chelsea's Brazilian forward has been cooking up something special ahead of his country's game with Peru.
The 23-year-old posted a picture of himself on Twitter preparing feijoada - a stew of beans with beef and pork ahead of tonight's game.
Judging by the size of the cooking pot, it appears Oscar has invited a few friends round to help him polish off the dish.
Ricardo Gareca has been manager of Peru since February. As well as playing in his native Argentina, the 57-year-old former striker also has playing experience in Colombia and has managed in club football in Peru. Gareca has also been likened by fans to rock legend Iggy Pop.
Xanadu: Hopefully Brazil will be in seventh heaven rather than seventh hell after the last World Cup.
LauraDaly: Brazil to win by a huge mile tonight!

Copa America is supposed to provide Brazil with a fresh start after their nightmare 7-1 World Cup semi-final defeat to Germany last summer. Yet try as hard as they might to forget, they have been given a number of unwelcome reminders in Chile of that disastrous day.
Not only is the road of their first hotel in Chile called Germany Avenue, the name of the ground for their game against Peru in Temuco is Estadio German Becker.
It's enough to make David Luiz, one of the few survivors from last year's thrashing, scream.
Any familiar faces in the Peru squad? Claudio Pizarro became the first Peruvian to sign for Chelsea when he joined from Bayern Munich in 2007. He made 21 Premier League appearances, mostly as a substitute, before returning to Germany on loan at Werder Bremen. Pizarro, 36, is in his second spell at Bayern and starts on the bench tonight.
Peru: Gallese, Zambrano, Advincula, Farfan, Ballon, Lobaton, Cueva, Vargas, Sanchez, Ascues Guerrero.
Brazil are still hurting after last summer's damaging World Cup semi-final defeat to Germany. They are in the middle of a transformation under Dunga but which players from England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland would get in their team now? Are Jack Wilshere, Joe Hart and Gareth Bale good enough to wear the yellow and green?

First major shock of Copa America 2015. Venezuela, 72nd in Fifa's rankings, have beaten Colombia, who are fourth, 1-0.
What a week for full-back Dani Alves.
Saturday: Wins Champions League with Barcelona for a third time.
Tuesday: Agrees a two-year contract extension with an option for a further year.
Wednesday: Called up to Brazil's Copa America squad as late replacement for injured Danilo.
Sunday: Starts Brazil's opening Copa America game against Peru.
Just two survivors from the Brazil side that started the humiliating 7-1 defeat to Germany in the World Cup semi-final last summer - David Luiz and Fernandinho.
Dani Alves also starts while former Manchester City forward Robinho is on the bench.
Brazil: Jefferson, Miranda, Alves, Luis, Luiz, Willian, Fernandinho, Elias, Fred, Tardelli, Neymar.
No Philippe Coutinho for Brazil. The Liverpool midfielder does not even make the bench amid reports he suffered a thigh injury in training. Poster boy Neymar does start along with Manchester City's Fernandinho and Chelsea duo Willian and Filipe Luis.
Venezuela have around five minutes to hang on for a famous win. There's a bizarre situation as Venezuela's Franklin Lucena, about to be brought on as a substitute, is booked before even entering the field. He slapped the ball out of a Colombian grip to prevent a quick throw and the referee showed him a yellow card.
Team news coming up. Worrying reports from the Brazil camp in the last few hours that Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has suffered a thigh injury in training.
Radamel Falcao and James Rodriguez are playing for Colombia but they trail Venezuela 1-0 with just over 10 minutes remaining. Jose Salomon Rondon with the goal for the country that has never won Copa America.
Yep, Brazil are back in competitive action. Their World Cup dream might have ended in tears but being crowned continental champions of South America will at least go a little way to mending broken hearts from last year. Dunga's team launch their campaign at 22:30 BST against Peru in Temuco in southern Chile.
The fifth game of the tournament is already under way in Rancagua where Colombia are taking on Venezuela. And we have a shock on the cards...
Three hundred and forty one days have passed. Eleven months and six days to heal the hurt and humiliation felt by a football-mad nation. More than 8,000 hours to recover, regroup and go again.
The 7-1 semi-final defeat suffered at the hands of Germany at last summer's World Cup will go down as one of their darkest football days.
But the manager is gone, so too most of the players, and a new-look side is eager to make amends for last summer's disaster.
Can five-time world champions Brazil make a successful return to tournament action by winning the 2015 Copa America?
