There's a Peru player down. Midfielder Carlos Ascues comes off worse in a 50-50 challenge with Diego Tardelli. Ascues is huge. He certainly doesn't look as though he would go down easily.

We asked: Which home nations player would make it into the Brazil XI?

Greg Randles: Michael Carrick! Would steady the ship and protect Luiz! Lord knows he needs it!

Matthew Ferris: Harry Kane is exactly what Brazil need. A young target man with bags of potential.

Andrew Johnston: Kyle Lafferty could teach Neymar and those other lads up top a thing or two! Banging them in for Northern Ireland this year!

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 23:05 British Summer Time 14 June 2015

First yellow card of the night to Paolo Guerrero after a very late challenge on Dani Alves leaves the Brazilian wincing in pain. Brazil temporarily down to 10 as Alves goes off for treatment. I suspect it's not the only booking we will see.
