Hello! Welcome to live text commentary of what promises to be a wonderful footballing weekend. Last week's unlikely headline maker was Dr Eva Carneiro as she felt the wrath of Jose Mourinho. (More on that later.) But who will set the tone for this week?

Adnan Januzaj stole the show last night, netting the winner for Manchester United against Aston Villa, but there's plenty of minutes left in the weekend for another player, another manager, heck, even another backroom staff member, to steal the show.

Seven days ago we were all a little younger, full of anticipation and hope of what might be. There'd been no spits, no spats, no defeats or injuries. The pulse was steady.

But a week on, many are starting to feel hot under the collar, the blood pressure's already rising and touchline tantrums are once again part of the weekend's routine.

It could be the case of early-season football fever, just a seven-day flush. But I'm no medic. Anyone know the name of a good doctor for an official diagnosis?
