Looks bad news for Everton and midfielder Tom Cleverley. He is down nursing his ankle after a challenge by Eric Dier and a stretcher is being called for. He isn't going to play any more part here. 

Ross Barkley shoots low straight at Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris from 20 yards. That was never going to trouble him.

Ryan Mason bursts down the right. His cross is headed back by Harry Kane but to no one and Everton clear. This match is yet to really get going.

Gareth Barry is booked for pulling back Harry Kane. Took one for the team there, as Kane looked to have a lot of space ahead.

Harry Kane is looking busy. Mousa Dembele slips him in down the right, he drops his shoulder to beat one Everton defender but he tries to do too much and Bryan Oviedo tackles.

The Tottenham striker has the freedom of  White Hart Lane as he races onto a slide-rule pass from Ryan Mason.

He is through on goalkeeper Tim Howard, tries to give him the eyes, but the American isn't fooled and blocks his ultimately weak effort.
