    Jimmy Armfield
BBC Radio 5 live at Goodison Park

"It's been a timid start to this second half. Everton's midfield players have dropped too far back, allowing Chelsea too much possession. In the first half Everton were pushing forward, pushing out. If I was Roberto Martinez I'd encourage my players to start doing that again."

OJ:  Mou should go? That's the problem with such clubs - it will be hard for them to have a structure because of unstable coaching.

Steven Wall:  Jose's not the problem, it's an old defence with no pace! Ivanovic has been problem for last two years defensively.

Stupot McDermote:  Chelsea will finish mid-table this season, Jose will get rid of  deadwood from team and then buy younger players.

    Everton 2-1 Chelsea

    Jimmy Armfield
BBC Radio 5 live at Goodison Park

"This is a bit of a test now for Everton. I thought they started to look a bit weak, particularly down the right-hand side, towards the end of the first half.

"And had they been able to score more from that period in the first half when they could have had four, they would have been out of sight. One moment, from Nemanja Matic, changed it."

    Arsenal v Stoke (15:00 BST)

What do you get if you cross Peter Crouch with Mame Diouf? This is no joke... you get Joselu.

So says Stoke City manager Mark Hughes, external of his new signing who could feature against Arsenal today: "Technically he's a very good player and a good finisher as well, if you get him into the right areas. He's got good technique and power and we think we have a good player.

"He probably sits between Peter Crouch as the main target man and Mame Diouf with his pure pace looking to work off the shoulder."

  18. MOTD commentator's viewpublished at 13:46 British Summer Time 12 September 2015

Crystal Palace v Man City (15:00 BST)

    John Motson
BBC Match of the Day commentator

"We're straight out of the international break and into a meeting of the top two.

"Crystal Palace's victory at Chelsea last time out was no fluke - it was the latest in a string of superb results over the so-called big clubs. Indeed, I did this corresponding fixture for Radio 5 live last season when Palace won 2-1.

"To win again, Palace will have to end City's 100% winning start and become the first side to breach their impressive defence.

"Should City overcome this tricky hurdle I can see them putting more distance between themselves and their title rivals in the coming weeks."

  19. 'Shame it can't end now'published at 13:45

Crystal Palace v Man City (15:00 BST)

Crystal Palace won at Chelsea last time out to go second in the league and face leaders Manchester City in what has become a top-of-the table clash.

"I think we're good to watch. We're different to Manchester City," said Eagles boss Alan Pardew. "They retain the ball, they can dominate possession, and that will be the key - how many times we can unlock the door on our breakaways.

"It's great for our fans because of a little bit of ribbing about a top-of-the-league clash.

"In the short term we can enjoy it, but we deserve to be there over four games. Of course there's another 34 to go unfortunately. Shame it can't end now."
