Scott, Edinburgh: "Can we please stop pretending Celtic getting through is good for Scottish Football. It only puts them another £10m+ ahead of everyone else in the league."
BBC Scotland reporter Chris McLaughlin
"Chances for Griffiths and Berget early on. If this ends goal-less, I'll swim home!"
Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths drifts past the Malmo defence like a 1500m runner kicking in for a sprint finish on the final bend. He gets a shot away as the Swedes dither but it hits the side netting.
BBC Scotland's Chris McLaughlin in Malmo
"It's 100mph stuff here. Both sides looking nervous in this cauldron of noise."
Dunfermline 1-0 Dundee 0 (Faissal El Bakhtaoui, 11 mins)
Jo Inge Berget, the former Celtic player, leaves Charlie Mulgrew in a daze with his quick feet and crosses into the box - no takers for the Swedes, though.
Celtic fans will be encouraged by the early contributions made by Saidy Janko, who is in the team in place of Sweden international Mikael Lustig. The home support, meanwhile, are furious that the referee has opted not to book Charlie Mulgrew for a rash challenge.
Celtic, you imagine, will want to slow the match down but to do that they will need to get hold of the ball and control the play. It's helter-skelter stuff.
Former Celtic goalkeeper Pat Bonner in Malmo
"It's a frenzied start by Malmo. Celtic have to stand up and be counted."
Ross County 1-0 Ayr United (Liam Boyce, 3 mins)
Raith Rovers 1-0 Hamilton Academical (Iain Davidson, 3 mins)
The pace is mesmerising! Malmo's Jo Inge Berget blitzes a shot from out on the left which flies past Craig Gordon's left-hand post.
Play rages to the other end and Saidy Janko crosses for Leigh Griffiths, but the Celtic striker can't get on the end of it.
Malmo are first to press and gain a free-kick 10 yards into the Celtic half when Stuart Armstrong boots an opponent's ankle.
Malmo, in Manchester City light blue, kick off the match. Celtic are in their fluorescent yellowy-green away strip.
Malmo skipper Markus Rosenberg and Celtic counterpart Scott Brown shake hands in the centre circle, the latter most certainly wearing his "game face".
You know things are about to get interesting when the Champions League anthem is blasted out and a giant banner sporting the Champions League logo is ruffled by exhausted ball boys and girls in the centre circle.
Shaun Bhoy67: "Cmon Celtic time to turn it on and prove to the land we belong at Europe's top table. Celtic to win 1-0 with Van Dijk to send us through to the group stages with a send of goal. Cmon the Hoops!"
Andrew, Richhill: "If Celtic can't manage to qualify for the Champions League group stages after being given straight-forward draws against the weaker Icelandic, Azberbaijani and Swedish champions, then there is a serious problem. But as usual, Celtic aren't making things easy for themselves!"
Five minutes until kick-off and the atmosphere is electric. Both sets of fans are in full voice.
This time last year Malmo beat Salzburg to book their place in the Champions League group stages. They trailed the Austrians by one goal going into the home leg, but a 3-0 win in Sweden ensured they progressed.
