"Arsene Wenger was furious with the referee, presumably for what he thought were two soft yellow cards. But Arsenal have so much to do in the second half now."

Abu Ali : The moment Wenger didn't sign another striker pretty much killed our season there and then. Frankly, it was coming.

David Talbo t: The question to be asked is: Arsene helping the French nation over England by playing Giroud over Walcott?Monreal over Gibbs?

Torsten Jensen :@_OlivierGiroud_, external is definitely proving Wenger's point about him being a top class striker. Giroud on the Bridge bench.

"I would have liked to have seen Hazard get his confidence back and put the ball in the back of the net - to say 'I am the guy and I am going to take this penalty.'

"But how cool was that? That was a well-taken penalty by Oscar and you can see the relief on Jose Mourinho's face."

Louis Leigh : A grim 1st half for Arsenal. Wenger should start readying the hair-dryers. I imagine they've brought quite a few with them.

Mathew Penistone : Well Olivier, yet another failure. No arguments. Silly boy. Plenty of players failing auditions here tonight.

Max Baggins-Craig :  Am not suprised with Giroud's sending off, Arsenal are just a mess & deserve no more than the situation they're in.

Eden Hazard gets his dribbling shoes on and drives into the box, playing in Reuben Loftus-Cheek, but the goalkeeper is quick off his line to concede a corner. Which comes to nothing. Nice play though.

"This is real trouble for Arsene Wenger's team. It's a second yellow card and there are no complaints. He stuck out a foot which was rash. That was stupid. Arsenal are 1-0 down and in real trouble."

  14. RED CARD - Giroud sent offpublished at 20:25

    Dinamo 1-0 Arsenal

Two yellows for Olivier Giroud. He's off! The French striker was earlier booked for dissent and now he's late on Ivo Pinto. A lazy challenge - he was never going to win the ball - and it's an early bath in Zagreb for Giroud. Uphill task for the Gunners.

Oscar hits the bar from six yards out! But the goal wouldn't have counted because the referee had blown moments earlier for a high kick against Diego Costa. Harsh on the striker, poor miss from the playmaker.

WHAT A STRIKE from Alessandro Florenzi, a hit from just inside his own half for Roma to equalise against Barcelona.

Porto weren't behind for long against Dynamo Kiev, equalising through Vincent Aboubakar.

    Dinamo 1-0 Arsenal

Arsenal are up to 66% possession and Kieran Gibbs bursts down the left but his deflected cross sails harmlessly over everyone in the box and a bright move breaks down.
