Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger became uncharacteristically tetchy when it was suggested he had made a mistake leaving out Petr Cech for David Ospina against Olympiakos in their last group game here at The Emirates - only to see the Colombian drop a corner into his own net.

For all his defensiveness, Wenger is clearly not risking similar accusations against Bayern Munich tonight. Cech is back for a game that Arsenal, even though various permutations for qualification for the knockout phase remain, cannot realistically afford to lose.

"He's gone with Theo Walcott who is really getting a run in that centre-forward role. People questioned could he do it. Was his finishing good enough? But he's shown, he is getting in behind. With his pace he will be a big threat for Arsenal tonight."

Jose Mourinho is looking confident in the dugout in Kiev's Olympic Stadium. The Chelsea boss has made three changes to the side that started the 2-0 victory over Aston Villa last weekend, with Eden Hazard, defender Gary Cahill and midfielder Nemanja Matic all returning. Making way are injured forward Pedro, midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek and defender Baba Rahman.

Looking at Chelsea's team-sheet, it looks like Kurt Zouma will start at right-back.

    Fight like animals

Pep Guardiola expects Arsenal to 'have the mentality of an animal' tonight as they fight for their Champions League lives.

But what animal best represents your side, and why?

Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola has told his side to expect Arsenal to fight like animals as they look to revive their Champions League campaign.

The Gunners lost their first two group games to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos.

Guardiola said: "I can imagine my team with zero points and playing in Germany against Arsenal.

"I can imagine the mentality of my team - we would be an animal because it is our last chance, you give everything, and that will happen with Arsenal."

Gent know defeat in Valencia tonight will leave them five points adrift of the qualification places with just three games to play.

"We know it will be pretty difficult but nothing is impossible," says head coach Hein Vanhaezebrouck (pictured).

Lyon, in the same group, face a similarly bleak scenario if they are beaten by group-leaders Zenit in Russia. Defeat would leave the French club a minimum of four points behind the second automatic qualification place.

A Bayern Munich fans' group is planning a protest tonight over the cost of the Gunners' away tickets.

FC Bayern Worldwide says it will not enter the Emirates for the first five minutes of the match because of the "excessive" £64 ticket price. They're still going, just missing (maybe) a goal or two.

    That'll teach 'em...

Luis Enrique could play his part in heaping the pressure on former club Roma tonight.

If his Barcelona side beat newly crowned Belarusian champions BATE Borisov and Roma are beaten at Bayer Leverkusen, it will leave the Italians bottom of the group and on the brink of exit with two games to play.

BATE are without ex-Barca man Aleksandr Hleb due to injury, while Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta remain sidelined for the Catalan club.

Did you know? BATE have won their domestic league for 10 seasons in a row.

    BBC Radio 5 Live

Former Arsenal manager George Graham is perplexed at the club's displays in the Champions League this season and questions whether Arsene Wenger's side have taken the competition seriously.

Graham tells BBC Radio 5 live he was confused by their display against Olympiakos just days before the Gunners hammered Manchester United in the Premier League.

He adds: “It all depends what Arsenal turn up tonight, the onus is on them now without question, they know they’re playing one of the best teams if not the best team in Europe so they’ve got to be up for the game like they were a couple of weeks ago against Manchester United and they’ve got to be very very positive, they’ve got to go forward.

“I think actually they may be in a better situation just now because they’re not expected to win.”

Muller also bagged in the previous season as Bayern won 3-1 at the Emirates. In fact, Arsenal have won only one of their four home games against Bayern.

"People talk about how six points wouldn't be enough but it could be. If they lose both games to Bayern Munich and the matches between Zagreb and Olympiakos finish in draws - if Arsenal then win their last two games, they could, theoretically, sneak through on six points.

"Let's cross the bridge when we come to it. The more salient point is how have Arsenal got themselves into this position?"

If Arsenal were to lose their two games against Bayern Munich AND either Olympiakos or Dinamo Zagreb triumph in both meetings between the two sides then…

    Arsenal cannot progress.

If Arsenal lost both games to Bayern AND Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb win a game each then…

…Arsenal would have to win their final two games and hope Bayern Munich win their remaining games. The Gunners would then be level on six points with Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb, but would need a superior goal difference.

If Arsenal lose both games to Bayern AND Olympiakos and Dinamo Zagreb draw both meetings then…

...Arsenal could progress by winning their final two games.
