Greg McElhinney: It only makes sense for international matches really. If you are from one country but live in the other then sure wear half and half shirts but at club level it just shows that you don't really support anyone that much.

Stuart MacDonald: I only purchase the odd scarf as a momento to remember the games I've been to, would never wear a half/half shirt.

Charlie Speary: I bought an Inter v Spurs half and half scarf in Milan, but that was mainly as a memory as we'd never been CL before and knew we probably wouldn't again.

    Arsenal

Arsenal stick with winger Joel Campbell after he scored in the 3-0 win over Swansea on Saturday. Laurent Koscielny is on the bench with a minor hip problem so Gabriel replaces him at centre-back. Mathieu Debuchy is in for Hector Bellerin at right-back.

Bayern make two changes to the team that shared a goalless draw with Eintracht Frankfurt last Friday. David Alaba is in for Rafinha at full-back while Thomas Muller starts behind Robert Lewandowski. Arjen Robben is on the bench.

Arsenal XI: Cech, Debuchy, Mertesacker, Gabriel, Monreal, Coquelin, Cazorla; Campbell, Ozil, Sanchez, Giroud

Bayern Munich XI: Neuer, Alaba, Martinez, Boateng, Lahm, Alonso, Thiago, Müller, Costa, Coman, Lewandowski.

Champions Barcelona will be confident of extending their unbeaten run in Group E when they host BATE Borisov, although they'll have to do it without a certain Lionel Messi who is still suffering from a knee injury. Surprisingly, Roma are bottom of the group and have not won in three games yet, and the Italians host Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

    Group E

Group H could be done and dusted with two games to go. Andre Villas Boas's Zenit St Petersburg hold a 100% record and travel to France to face once-feared Lyon, who are bottom. A Zenit win will see them progress to the last-16.

Valencia are going well and are second - that's the Phil Neville effect. They go to Belgium to play Gent and three points will give them a huge step towards the knockout stages.

Chelsea captain John Terry came out swinging in defence of Jose Mourinho, and his own form, in yesterday's news conference.

He also took a huge dig at former Match of the Day pundit Robbie Savage...

Terry said: "I have come under criticism from players I have looked up to and take it on the chin - Rio Ferdinand, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher.

"When certain other people speak, maybe I don't listen. Players who have played at a really bad level, who haven't had a career - Robbie Savage being one.

"He has dug me out a couple of times. I take it from the very best, other people - no."

Martin Butcher: Might work for a charity match or something like that, but otherwise it just says, I'm an armchair fan with no commitment to my club.

Kevin Morgan: It's handy for those Chelsea/Man City fans who can't decide who they support this week.

Richard Turner: Why on earth would you want to wear the colours of the opposing team? Its pure nonsense.

  14. 'You can't get much better than that'published at 18:59

Bayern Munich v Arsenal (19:45 GMT)

Bayern, who lost in the semi-finals to eventual winners Barcelona last season, are top of the group and captain Philipp Lahm says their confidence was not dented by losing to Arsenal.

"We are top of the Bundesliga and our Champions League group - you can't get much better than that," he said.

"We weren't wounded after the away defeat. We're playing at home, it's a top game and we want a win to consolidate our place at the top of the table."

Bayern - who dropped their first Bundesliga points of the season at the weekend with a goalless draw against Eintracht Frankfurt - will be without winger Franck Ribery.

Eden Hazard has been one of the big disappointments in Chelsea's season and it is a sign of his fall from grace that he is not in  the starting line-up against Dynamo Kiev tonight.

Cesc Fabregas, who took to Twitter to counter claims that he was leading a dressing room revolt against manager Jose Mourinho, does start after being left out against Liverpool.

England defender Gary Cahill also loses his place, while Spain winger Pedro returns to the bench after injury.

Chelsea XI: Begovic; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Terry, Baba Rahman; Ramires, Matic; Willian, Fabregas, Oscar; Diego Costa.

Bayern have won 16 of their last 17 home games in the group stage of the competition, however their one defeat in that run came against English opposition (Manchester City, December 2013).

Wales manager Chris Coleman has criticised Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger for suggesting Aaron Ramsey's hamstring injury was caused by playing for Wales.

"I'm not going to sit back and let someone put blame on us," said Coleman.

"If Wenger has a problem with me or my selection, I'll gladly drive to Arsenal's training ground.

"Our job is hard enough as managers, without us having a chip at each other, especially a cheap shot which is exactly what it was.

"If I get no correspondence from a club regarding their players that is a green light for us to play the player. And there was no correspondence from Arsenal from Wenger or his medical team.

"If he's got a problem with Aaron Ramsey, pick the phone up and tell me. He called Hodgson on Theo Walcott."
