    Aston Villa 0-0 Stoke

What an effort! Charlie Adam has form for this and he shoots from WELL INSIDE his own half!

It's going in too, until the rapidly back-pedalling Brad Guzan tips it over!

    Sensational. Sensational stuff...

    Aleksandar Mitrovic (17 mins)

How about this? Manchester City have been on top in these early stages but it is Newcastle who snatch the lead. Aleksandar Mitrovic flicks a header from close range beyond a stunned Joe Hart.

What will City's response to that be?

Mike: Another good start by 'insert opposition team' at Villa Park. Not sure the players know how to play with three at the back.

Still no real chances at Carrow Road, with the home side looking bright and smart on the ball but yet to cut through the men in blue.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Stoke

Villa have steadied the ship after Stoke's rapid start. It's very quiet at Villa Park though.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Watford

Bournemouth are building their attacks through Matt Ritchie on the right and the winger is certainly causing the Watford defence a few early headaches. He whips in another cross from out wide, but this time it is too close to Heurelho Gomes.

    Sunderland 1-0 West Ham

Almost dreamland for Sunderland as Fabio Borini shoots into the side-netting! Slaven Bilic looks furious...

    Man City 0-0 Newcastle

Manchester City are cranking up the pressure now as Sergio Aguero rises to meet a cross and attempts to direct a header towards goal. Kevin Mbabu gets in the way, but it looks like it may have been going just wide anyway.

    Steven Fletcher (10 mins)

Dick Advocaat is unmoved - but the Stadium of Light is not! Huge celebrations as the struggling hosts take the lead. They work a corner cleverly, not unlike Daley Blind's recent goal against Liverpool, as they cut a ball back to Steven Fletcher in space on the penalty spot and he fires home left-footed. There is a hint of a deflection.

We can only assume that Riyad Mahrez is perhaps not fully fit. Without him, the Foxes have started on the back foot.

How did this not go in!!??

Kevin De Bruyne drills in a free-kick and it has too much power for Tim Krul, who can only parry the ball into the dangerzone. Yards out, Fernando pounces and must score? No, Newcastle somehow scramble clear on the line.

    John Hartson
Former Wales striker on Final Score

"It looks great business now for Bournemouth, taking Glenn Murray from Palace on deadline day for £5m.

"He's a forward I like, big and strong, and now he gets his opportunity with Callum Wilson being out."

Callum Wilson was the Cherries' top scorer in the Championship last season, while injury saw Murray only start 12 Premier League games in 24 months at Palace.

Stoke definitely out for the early strike as winger Marko Arnautovic cuts in from the left, steadies himself and then hammers a drive into the Holte End.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Watford

    Graeme Le Saux
Former England defender on Final Score

"Bournemouth don't have a depth of squad to accommodate for Callum Wilson's injury and others that are out with long term injuries. Eddie Howe will be looking at what he can do in the January window."

Wilson is out for at least six months after injuring his knee against Stoke. Defender Tyrone Mings and winger Max Gradel are also with long term injuries.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Watford

A golden chance for Glenn Murray on his first start for Bournemouth as Matt Ritchie lofts in a cross towards the big striker at the far post. Murray is all alone but can only cushion a header onto the roof of the net. Should have done better.

Just 11 seconds. That is all Reading need to take the lead against second-placed Middlesbrough in the Championship. Danny Williams has scored it, heading in a Hal Robson-Kanu cross.

Carrow Road looks to be making a mockery of my earlier prediction that gloves and a scarf may be needed this afternoon - a lovely day in Norfolk. The hosts bosing the early play.

    Man City 0-0 Newcastle

Newcastle are getting at Manchester City right from the off as Daryl Janmaat skips a challenge down the right before crossing in low towards the near post. Nicolas Otamendi takes no chances, thumping the ball behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Stoke

Stoke make a cracking start at Villa Park, freeing Mame Biram Diouf at the end of a good break. Diouf sets himself and rifles in the shot but Micah Richards makes a sliding block. Excellent defending.
