  6. CLOSE!published at 65 mins

Bolton manager Neil Lennon: "The momentum has shifted towards Everton, the goal before half-time changed the psychology of the game in their favour. Liverpool have gone scrappy, but there haven't been too many chances after the break."

James Hammond: Emre Can being played out of position and Liverpool are punished. Same old, same old 'square pegs in round holes' from Rodgers.

Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman on BBC Radio Merseyside: "Liverpool are in danger of undoing all their good work in the first 40 minutes. They are siting back too deep now."

  11. Worst run in a generation?published at 61 mins

    Everton 1-1 Liverpool

Everton have gone nine league games without a victory against their neighbours Liverpool. They've not gone 10 games without a victory against the Reds since 1984 (a run of 11 games).

Aaron Lennon's first touch is a good one, spinning past his marker and whipping in a low cross which is well defended.

Liverpool have not looked good in this second half at all. At the moment they are reduced to lumping it to Danny Ings.

Everton make the first switch, Aaron Lennon on for Gerard Deulofeu.

When Romelu Lukaku is on it, he's a very hard man to stop. He single-handedly bullied West Brom on Monday night and he's doing his best to repeat the trick now. One piece of play sees him roll two defenders before switching it wide before he induces a foul from a frustrated Martin Skrtel. Too big and strong.

Everton are sending on Aaron Lennon.

After Dick Advocaat resigned, who would you like as the next Sunderland manager?

Jack Swanston: Who do I want as the next Sunderland manager? Anyone who'll give Duncan Watmore a start.

Riyaz:  It's obvious - Rodgers to Sunderland, Mourinho to Liverpool and erm Advocaat to Chelsea..

Gavin: I would say try and tempt David Moyes. Perfect choice. Unfinished business in the premiership

Ian: Think for Sunderland's next manager I'd be looking at Sam Allardyce or Ally McCoist.
