"What a shame, really"published at 13:45

BBC Radio 5 live"What a shame, really. Chelsea have been getting more and more into this game and the attitudes of both sets of players had been excellent, with really good work-rates and energy.
"Then right at the end the dynamic of this game has changed. We might now not get as good second half. We will pour over that sending off - did Gabriel deserve his red card? Let's be clear, Costa is no angel."

Dan J Pinchy: Rather than trading petty insults like spoilt brats Jose Mourinho & Arsene Wenger should put up or shut up... Half time pillow fight in centre circle.
We're all waiting with bated breath for Jose and Arsene to emerge from the tunnel, bare-chested and each whirling a king size goose feather and down.

Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writerBizarre end to the half with Gabriel sent off at the conclusion of a lengthy spat with Diego Costa. Arsenal might say, with a lot of justification, that Costa started all that with three straight hands into the face of Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny - surely he should be off as well?
RED CARD - Gabriel (Arsenal)published at 13:32
13:32Chelsea 0-0 Arsenal
Controversy! Diego Costa stands behind Gabriel as Petr Cech prepares to take a goal-kick and the Chelsea striker reacts angrily to what he seems to suggest is a stamp on his foot. Referee Mike Dean takes his time to assess the situation and then sends off the Arsenal defender.
Gabriel is angry, Arsene Wenger is furious. Diego Costa looks quite satisfied with the outcome. Replays do little to clear up if there was a stamp or not.
Touch paper lit. Bang on half-time.

Stavros Makrozachopo: I'm watching them both right now and Forest v Middlesbrough is miles better than this Chelsea v Arsenal derby
John Pierce: Arsenal too lightweight, Chelsea lacking confidence, equals snore-fest.

"Walcott is looking really lively"published at 13:03
13:03Chelsea 0-0 Arsenal
Pat Nevin
BBC Radio 5 live"It was frantic to begin with but now this game has settled into what we expected. And you have to say, Arsenal look the more comfortable side when they're on the ball. But only just.
"Walcott is looking really lively - playing on the shoulders of the defenders and trying to use his pace at every opportunity. I completely understand why he prefers to play as a centre-forward rather than wide on the right, because he's always involved."
