    Bad news Liverpool fans...

Jordan Henderson broke a bone in his right foot yesterday during training. This is the other foot to the one in which he's had his heel problem and completely unrelated to that issue.

He's likely to have minor surgery on it on Monday and after that the lay off is roughly six to eight weeks. This would rule him out of England's Euro 2016 qualifiers against Estonia on 9 October and Lithuania on 12 October and probably the friendlies against Spain on 13 November and France on 17 November.

John Terry remains on the Chelsea bench as Jose Mourinho sticks with Kurt Zouma and Gary Cahill as his centre-back partnership. Branislav Ivanovic returns at right back, and in front of him Pedro is back in the Blues starting line-up after a two-game absence. Oscar also starts after shaking off a knee problem.

Theo Walcott gets the nod to lead the Arsenal attack, with Olivier Giroud on the bench.

Former Chelsea keeper Petr Cech returns after being rested for Wednesday's Champions League defeat by Dinamo Zagreb and Gabriel partners Laurent Koscielny at centre-back with Per Mertesacker still sidelined.

Early contender for signing of the summer has to be West Ham's Dimitri Payet. Brought in for around £10m from Marseille, the Frenchman has made a stunning start to life in London. He scored a cracker against Newcastle in their last season game.

Despite a mixed bag of results - three wins and two defeats - the Hammers lie fifth in the league at the moment, and Slaven Bilic will be looking to put a spanner into the works of City today.

Five games, five wins, 11 scored and zero conceded, it has been the perfect start for Manuel Pellegrini's side in the Premier League.

However, their excellent start to the new season incurred its first bump in the road when City lost to Juventus in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Captain Vincent Kompany is out, but striker Sergio Aguero is fit for Saturday's late kick-off after a hefty challenge from Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann last weekend.

They'll need the Argentine firing if they want to continue their run in the top flight today.

    Swansea v Everton (15:00 BST)

    Roberto MartinezImage source, Getty Images

Everton manager Roberto Martinez served Swansea with distinction as a player from 2003 to 2006 and as a manager from 2007 to 2009.

Under the Spaniard, the Toffees have had a decent start this term, losing just once against Manchester City. They did well to reject the advances of Chelsea by keeping holding of defender John Stones in the transfer window, and the England international has shown his class with some impressive showings.

With both sides intent on getting the ball down, as opposed to lumping it long, this should be a good, footballing contest in Wales.

A good start to the season, with a draw against champions Chelsea and victory over Manchester United, suffered a blip for Swansea last weekend when they lost at Watford.

Garry Monk has continued the excellent work of predecessors Roberto Martinez and Brendan Rodgers by getting the Swans playing entertaining football with some super, slick passing and now a dangerous front two pairing.

Summer signing Andre Ayew is the new darling of South Wales, netting three already this campaign, while Bafetimbi Gomis has gone one better with four.

People had a lot to say when Leicester sacked Nigel Pearson and appointed veteran Claudio Ranieri as manager. They've quickly piped down, eh?

The Foxes have had a superb start to the new season under the Italian, unbeaten from their opening five games and second in the league behind Manchester City.

Star man Riyad Mahrez has been the catalyst for that run, but how long can they keep it going for? They were tipped for relegation in pre-season.

  20. Too good to go down?published at 11:06

    Stoke v Leicester (15:00 BST)

Afellay and ShaqiriImage source, Getty Images

Stoke brought in some star players in the summer transfer window, including Ibrahim Afellay from Barcelona and Xherdan Shaqiri from Inter Milan. The two locked horns in the Bundesliga while playing for Schalke and Bayern Munich.

However, the big boys haven't settled so far and the Potters find themselves in the relegation zone at this early juncture.

Last season they finished with their most points ever in the top flight, as they came ninth in the Premier League.

Surely Mark Hughes will turn it around, and they are "too good to go down"?
